Great place to just relax!.
I've been to many T.G.I. Friday's in New York City and the Austin Street branch has to be my favorite. I've been there afternoons and nights, weekends and weekdays and no matter what I've always felt welcomed. After a long day at school and/ or work or maybe after a movie I'd go there and relax with close friend over some food and drinks.
The staff (most notably some of the really cute younger ones) is always very nice and warm. Drink are always being brought to my table fast and with a smile.
The food does tend to take a while to come which is understandable but waiting almost 20 minutes for wings is torture! The food isn't the best but it's not horrible ether.
This is more of a place I'd go to relax rather than try to impress someone with great food but still it is a favorite.

Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles..
In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.

Always consistant.
I never thought that I would be reviewing a TGIF's but now that there is one opened in my neighborhood...
This place is great for family gatherings and the occasional office party. Practically predictable with the food and service. Never been let down.
A friendly spot.
