Gross food over priced. The service slow, the food was AWFUL, and it was way over priced. We could have gone to a much better restaurant for the amount we spent.
Worst TGI EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Let's get straight to the point, all the staff seemed to be uneducated about service.
Four of us went there and they only gave us three menus, and two utensils- that was some what acceptable...
The waiter kept asking if we were ready but didn't even bring us water.
(TGI in times square is WAYYYYY over-priced)...
Any how, we got our food, and started eating then when I was almost finished with my PASTA
I found HAIR!!!...yes... Nasty, nappy, curly hair!!
I tried calling the waiter but he was no where to be found... he didn't even ask us if the food tasted right or even bothered to give us more water. When he finally came after about 10 minutes, we told him there was hair.
He observed the plate with the hair for about 30seconds(literally) and then told us "hmm let me see..." and took it away, and in about 30 sec, he came back and told us that none of the cooks had short hair,
and neither of my party had short nappy/curly hair. I told him i wanted to talk to the manager.
I would have guessed that the manager would be little bit more concerning about this disgusting matter,
but even when the manager came to YET AGAIN observe the plate, he couldn't find the hair, so we told him where it was. AGAIN!!! AND AGAIN he observed it and didn't even say anything and walked away.
We were waiting for the feedback for about 10 minutes and kept waiting, finally brought back us the check, which he didn't charge for the hairy food.
But the manager didn't even apologize, nor the waiter.
IT was the worst chain restaurant i've ever been to
NEVER go here, I would've rather went to Olive garden about 100ft away
It was disgusting and stressful to see this kind of attitude from such a nice family restaurant.
Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles..
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
TGI Crapy. I love shrimp, but after eating shrimp from here I may never eat it again. Service was so slow, and when we finally got our food it was disgusting. There was no elbow room and the lighting was pretty bad. The only two good things about that night was that they gave my son a free balloon and when we finaly left. In other words TGI OVER.
save your money. Resist the urge to go into this chain restaurant - walk around a little more and you will find something better! TGIFridays is fine in suburban America, but this Times Square location is not only grossly overpriced, but the service is slow (they seemed badly understaffed the night I was there) and the inside of the restaurant looked like no one had cleaned or decorated it since 1989.
Puts Times Square to Shame. Food was overpriced and mediocre. Service was bad. The whole TGIF experience was crap. New York is a city of fabulous restaurants with great food & drinks, ambiance and staff. TGIF was the only bad meal experience we had!
