I wanted a real massage not a bad rub. i was just wondering west village looking for a chinese place to have one of those cheap strong massages chinese are famous for, so I found this place, it is a very good looking basement with a smell of dry fish, I was took to a very well equipped massage room a little messy though , then the massage started he covered my body with a towel and spent like 20 minutes rubbing it the feeling wasn't good but I wanted to be patient and give this guy a chance, after 20 minute of bad rubbing he finally took the towel off and cover my body with a lot of oil and started massaging using his thumbs but once again not a good technique I was so tired from a very hard working day that I fall sleep like for 20 minutes, I was woke up by this guy asking me to turn over then he took a handful of oil and threw it on my body he even spilled a good amount on the floor he immediately started rubbing it all over me at that point it was to late to asked him to stopped so i was patient but really mad, I got ripped off tonight. be aware and away from this place.

Can a Massage Actually be Bad? Well......YES.. My friend and I have enjoyed having a good massage while traveling, and we thought that this looked like a great place to stop and relax. The prices are reasonable, and the place looks clean. Unfortunately, the drive to New York had taken it's toll on my back, and I really was feeling like i NEEDED a massage, rather than simply wanting it. After settling in, I told my therapist that I wanted some work on that upper back place that can really turn into a knot. He mumbled a word or two, and for the next 15 minutes, I just had a gentle brushing up my back, then back down..hmmm. Was this going to get any better? Just a start maybe? Nope, just another 45 minutes of apathy in oil.

When I came out, I actually complained...NEVER the sort that would do this, but I was really disappointed, and my back still hurt. The man behind the desk couldn't have been less interested, and actually handed me an envelope for the tip, after I had told him of my dissatisfaction. He would not give me the name of the therapist, nor his own name, so I cannot merely suggest that you avoid this particular therapist. My advice: go somewhere else, even if it costs a little more.

Good thorough massage. I have been to this place twice now. My first experience was good and my second was great.

It's not the best designed joint and it has no bells and whistles. But it's not expensive and the therapists work pretty hard and are talented.

I stumbled in the 2nd time around without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me within a few minutes. Most of the therapist don't speak English but that almost refreshing if you know what I mean.

I'm a dude and both times I had male therapists without requesting one. They are not overly concerned with draping you but are more concerned with massaging just about every inch of you. They are very thorough but stop just short of doing anything illegal.

I'd go again for sure.

We love this place. When we in the area, we come to this place. It is really relaxing and we enjoy it every time we come. We usually have the facial and massage package. Very reasonable price with excellent service. Facial, they take times and take very carefully working on our skin. Massage, they always melt our knots. We love this place.

Glad I was spend the time at the spa. I was so glad that I walked into Hey Man. While I was choosing which package I want to get, they offer me a coup of tea. Which was nice. I had pedicure and reflexology. It was amazing. My whole leg felt lighter and relax. I was happy with the service. I will be back, when I in NYC again.

Men's Spa. This place rules for men and I never did spa before. they fixed me up and now i feel like a new man and will always be on this spa forever.

BS review + BS Services. My name is Taylor Solomanie, this is my true personal experience, and I just want to share with all of you.

I went there for a massage because all these great reviews (which now I am pretty sure that they copy & paste themselves), boy was I surprised.

First of all, this place is nothing but a glorified massage polar, in a dungeon. I was greeted by someone who barely speaks English, (of course, I don't think he understand a word I said). Better yet, he's the one who gave me the massage. About half way through, I asked him if he can stretch my leg a little (I should've kept my mouth shut, since I already knew that he couldn't understand me), he said yes, and the next thing I know, his hand was slowing going up to my groin and about to give me a happy ending. Disgusting! I would recommend NO ONE to go there.

Incredible Men's Spa. I have had a lot of spa treatments over the year, and most places are noisy. Hey Man feels completely different. At Hey Man feel like away from New York. Calm, quite, relaxing surrounding and with wonderful service.

Hey Man, My New Favorite Spa. This is my first time at Hey Man, and I was recommend by one of my friends. It is a beautiful place and very friendly people there. There is more than I expected. I had whole packages combination: manicure,pedicure, facial and massage. I was enjoyed every item of the service. The service is super. I love the place.
