Bartender Stole Money.
This was a great neighborhood bar - I often brought friends there and the food was good. Always crowded, good hockey on TV. The staff sucked but the rest of its good qualities compensated for it. It was tolerable UNTIL the bartender stole money from me by adding a large tip to my bill. I tried calling a few times and the manager acted like he was looking into it and never called back. I've submitted a dispute with American Express and hope to get my money back soon.
Moral of the story: don't go to Warren 77. If you still want to go, make sure you pay cash or pay with your Amex and keep your receipt until the charge is posted to your account.

An au courant Tribeca sports bar also draws on decades past.
This spot attracts locals by day and the booze-minded by night, but if the decor says anything, it’s that Warren is mainly a sports bar--albeit an upscale sports bar, complete with a list at the door. Sporting equipment is scattered throughout and a slew of framed photographs depicting athletic heroes of yesteryear adorns the walls. Make a reservation if you plan to park with friends in one of the several u-shaped booths or at a table before one of five flat screen TVs. Additional design elements like a porcelain water fountain, a red leather couch and old-school video game consoles that double as tables make the space feel a bit cluttered, despite the high ceilings. But the wait staff is attentive, so patrons (think typical, well-groomed Tribeca types) don't have to crowd the bar area in back.
