What People Are Saying About Tonda

There are a number of ultra-authentic pizza joints around town--that is, pizza restaurants devoted to the glories of Neapolitan pies that are small, thin, austere and cooked for a flash in a wood-burning oven. Few of them have had the temerity to open in Una Pizza Napoletana’s backyard, but Tonda has things going for it that the pizza mater at Una Pizza doesn’t, including a big, comfortable, retro-feeling space with large windows that let in fresh air in warm weather.

STAY AWAY
by IClaudius
the food was not worth the price. You are better off going to a regular pizzeria. the prices were outrageous for the amount of food you got. Drinks were even worse. the restrooms were disgusting. port authority's restrooms are cleaner. the service was horrendous! I would never go there again, and would never recommend it TO anyone.
- Pros: none
- Cons: unclean, overpriced and terrible service
Great Pizza! Good Music, nice vibe!

Tonda serves excellent food for very reasonable price! Their pizza cooked with brick oven is fresh, crispy and healthy. Wines are good too and it is cheaper if you go there on their happy hours. They also started live jazz performance every Tuesdays, and it is good place to hang. You must check out this place!

We went on a whim for brunch. Found the menu limited amd pricey. my friend ordered mussels. some of the stinkiest mussels i have ever had. they were not fresh. ordered a croissant. was asked if i wanted jam for it. said 'sure' thinking they came with. 3 tinny bowls of jams more expensive than the croissant. another major con is no liquor. in a neighbourhood filled with amazing food choices, i will not be returning to E.U.
Super Breakfast

So after looking around for a decent place to have our hang-over breakfast on Tuesday AM, we finally settled into The E.U.
The menu is extremely wide and the ingredients were very fresh. The eggs were quite tasty and it was nice to be able to order something besides Hollandaise sauce :-)
It is a bit pricey, but we definately feel that we received value for our money. You don't get E.U. quality for Odessa pricing.
I would recommend to anyone. (Few places make it to our High Recommendation list - Chubo is one that does ;-) - as does Gnocco)
