Classic Old School Jazz Club. The vibe is thick with history; they say this was one of Billie Holliday's spots and you can definitely feel it in the walls. There is an eclectic music program with a big dose of Samba-Jazz. The more I go the more I feel at home and love it.

Jazz! Jazz! Jazz!. I started going to the new Zinc Bar last Spring and was really impressed. I organize a meetup for jazz enthusiasts and found that Zinc Bar was a great place to take my members. The music is almost always first rate. The venue itself is just big enough to give you a sense of comfort but still feels intimate. The bar is far enough away from the stage that it does not interfere with the shows. And the prices are really reasonable! Most shows are only a 10 dollar cover compared to similar venues that charge 20-35 dollars. I also like the way the management respects both the artists and their customers.
