A little pricey. The food was ok. Thought the prices were a little hight for pasta. It must be the NY rents that make places charge so much.

Good food, not good service. Been here a few times, as I live in the neighborhood. The food is pretty good, but I always get the same waiter who has an attitude. He didn't tell us about the special soup. When I asked of there was another soup besides what was on the menu, he then told me it was lentil soup. I asked what else was in it, but he didn't know and just said it was creamy. Creamy lentil soup? When I said I'd pass, he seemed annoyed that I didn't order an appetizer, though I did have a glass of wine. My friend did get an appetizer but no wine, and again, he seemed annoyed. Her salad came with the dressing on it, even though she asked for it on the side. Besides taking our order, the waiter did nothing else. He didn't serve the food, check to see if we were enjoying it, or clear the food. Another waiter brought the dessert menu. Bad attitude and sub-par service would definitely makes me not want to return. Too bad - I live across the street!

horrible restrauant!!!. i don"t recommend this place because the waiter took away my dessert before while i was eating it. And the owner asked us to hurry up and eat and that he needed the table for the next customers while my friends and i were still eating!!!!

do not recommend!!!!. Glorified fast food joint!!!! if you want to have a eat a nice dinner and have a relaxing evening doing it do not go here!!! you will get none of the above!!!!

The best italian food on Broadway. I visited Luce twice this summer with my friends. Every time, we enjoyed eating black linguini, homemade ravioli and drinking very good italian vine. Service was very good too, waiters and menagers were very friendly every time.

LUCE is great every time we go there. We keep going to LUCE every time we go to Lincoln Center, and love it each time. Their service is that true Italian attentive service to comfort every customer. Their fish selection is fresh, and whole roasted Branzino never dissappoints. Pastas are homemade. We are so glad to find this great place whenever we go to Lincoln Center.

Go if you have nowhere else to go.
Went to Luce to try it out as it's in the neighborhood. At 8:30 on a Thursday the place was about 2/3 empty, which probably signalled "stay away" and would have if I weren't intent on giving it a chance.
The baby octopus was a good idea but very poorly executed. It was tart and lemony to the point of making one's face scrunch.
I ordered the Salmon medium rare and it came back well done. Any restaurant that can't cook salmon to order is subpar.
The service was brusque and unfriendly.
The good: the space is interesting. My companion said the pasta was ok. Lesson: if you have to go, stick with the pasta. Don't trust them to cook your seafood.
