Decent food for a good price with friendly service.
The one other review about the person getting food poisoning made me a little concerned. But I think the food was on par with every other Japanese place at this price level. Nothing fancy or exotic but quite a bit of variety with the rolls and appetizers. My favourite was the app made from grilled squid and stuffed with smoked salmon and eel. My friend really liked his Dragon Rolls and ones made with squid.
We had a discount and the waitress let us know after we made our first order that we had enough to order at least one more roll. So points for the staff not being obnoxious or snobby about that.

WORST FOOD POISONING OF MY LIFE. I ate at Iron Sushi last Friday and I started to feel cramps Saturday...I ended up in the ER where they said I had a infectious bacterial infection in the small bowel. They asked me " did you eat raw fish or shellfish recently?" It didn't even occur to me before they asked the question...IN any case, I had fever over 102*F, and all other symptoms associated with food poisoning. I need to take a combo of 2 antibiotics to fight this for the next 14 days...

And while the third location of this affordable sushi chainlet--decorated with vintage floral wallpaper and little else--doesn’t do much to distinguish itself from the other Japanese eateries nearby, a variety of creative sushi rolls entice customers to return, like the Beat Box, a curiously tasty roll made with scallop, jalapeno and salsa.
