whittemore house. charlie is a great colorist. in addition to her talent, she's really nice and into her clients, i.e., she gets that the client should like the results. on the whittemore website, charlie notes that she likes to work in tandem with jaime.....

which is unfortunate because jaime doesn't get it. jaime subscribes to a philosophy of less is more. not in terms of length but in terms of width. i have stuck with her four times and each time she has taken my (naturally) thick and soft hair and thinned it beyond recognition. it's stringy and won't hold a shape. she doesn't remember that i've told her i don't like it and, unlike truly upscale salons, she doesn't take any notes. i have stayed with her out of loyalty to charlie but, it's so bad this time, that i'm having the damage minimized at a different salon.
