What People Are Saying About The Summit Bar
Featured Review

Located deep in Alphabet City, this high-end East Village cocktail bar caters to the more mature neighborhood residents. Brought to you by the people behind Minetta Tavern and the Mercer Kitchen, Summit Bar is a welcome addition to a ‘hood running amok with dive bars and newbie New Yorkers. The modern yet classic decor features exposed brick walls, chrome fixtures and dangling Edison bulbs. The cocktail menu offers classic and specialty drinks, while behind the bar a mad scientist-esque mixologist creates concoctions on an individual basis.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- Try the Charmane's Star: Russian Standard Platinum vodka, cucumber, shiso leaf, fresh lime, Vietnamese cinnamon infusion and rhubarb bitters.
- Food Served:
- Nibble on a delicious selection of cheese (Fromage d' Affinois, Cabot cloth-bound cheddar and Ossau Iraty) and meat (Salumeria Biellese pepperoni, Columbus sopressata and Niman Ranch pastrami) plates, all $5.
- The Extras:
- Grab a cocktail and head out back to the garden, open year-round.
Perfect cocktail bar, should not be missed!

Love this place. Perfect cocktails, great vibe, upscale but totally unpretentious. Check out this blog post for a full review of Summit: bit.ly/oNwu3P
