“We liked the atmosphere a lot, but that didn't make up for their polite, albeit slow service and the fact that our main meal was more of an appetizer.”
Medicore food!. I had the chicken tikka masala and dal makhani was so rich that i couldnt even digest my food. The service was ok and the price is affordable!
Buffet style kebabs. Indian food is amazingly flavorful. This restaurant only adds to that reputation. As a twist to buffet style eating, they actually bring small plates of each dish to your table a la tapas-style. You can ask for more of any dish at any time. The naan basket was never empty and the waitress was pleasantly attentive. The kebabs were well cooked. The sauces and vegetarian dishes are also well spiced. Definitely a place to visit often.
That's it?. We heard great things about Bhatti so me and my boyfriend tried it out for lunch one day. We liked the atmosphere a lot, but that didn't make up for their polite, albeit slow service and the fact that our main meal was more of an appetizer. There are so many better Indian restaurants in that exact area that provide three times the amount of food for the same price. We won't be coming here again any time soon.
Really good authentic Indian food. We just happened to walk into Bhatti with no prior reservations and the place being empty scared us at first, but we decided to bunk in there and we were pleasantly surprised. Not only did the food surpass our expectations but also the service was commendable. I would greatly recommend this restaurant to all as this is our family's new hot spot.
Delicious!. North Indian food at its best. The restaurant is elegant, the food is delicious. Kababs are cooked to perfection. Service is at par with the rest of the restaurants. Order the lamb chops and the Galouti. Will definitely keep going back to Bhatti!
Great food, affordable prices, cozy atmosphere. Bhatti recently opened in Gramercy and has become a neighbourhood favourite. The food never disappoints- its always fresh, perfectly spiced and delicious! The kababs are incredible, and the curries are mouthwatering. Best of all, its BYOB! Call ahead to make reservations on Fri/Sat nights. Good lunch specials as well. All in all a great find!
A Curry Hill spot serves less mainstream Indian eats.. An Indian resto in Murray Hill where the food is cooked on a lava stone grill called a bhatti.
Kabab Factory.
well .. well I went to Kabab Factory on 28th and Lexington Ave (101 Lexington Avenue) Wednesday (5/25). I passed by that place many time, since the appearance of the place looks like a take out I never cared to enter, but I took a chance and entered that place, and that decision is well rewarded.
1st of all I learned there is more seating inside (down stairs) than it looks from the outside. 2nd of all I was really surprised by the service. 3rd of all, the food: the best kabob in town. It is an all you can eat lunch place, all you can eat kabob, curries, veggies, Rice and Nan for very very good reasonable price. It is like a buffet but they bring the food to your table and you can have any number of servings. I went for the Chicken Lunch special and it was really good, I got a 1 Veggie curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Some Lentils, Rice and Nan, the food was fresh and tasty. After the great experience today I took 12 of my co-workers and they enjoyed the food too and every one said they are going to be a repeat customers.
I highly recommend this place, this place is the best example for the saying "don't deceived by the looks from the outside"
Just try it .. you will like it I guarantee it
Best kababs in town!. Kabab Factory is by far my favourite new restaurant. This newly opened place on 28th and Lex offers extraordinary food for a fraction of the cost. The owner and staff are extremely friendly- they take the time to explain the menu to you. The food is delicious- the curries, naan and lentils are perfect, and the kababs and kathi rolls (wraps) are to die for. The lunch specials are cheap and service is super fast. The atmosphere is cozy and informal, and the experience is 5-star. Don't forget to try the desserts- you will fall in love with this place!
