Most affordable lobster rolls in NYC!. LOVE this place!

I had the lobster roll schooner which comes with a pickle a Maine Root soda and a bag of chips. I could care less about the limp pickle but the lobster rolls was amazing! Cool creamy lobster salad on a warm buttered roll.... my mouth is drooling again! LOL!

Interesting selection of sodas from Maine.

The lobster roll by itself is $14 so for $2 more you get the chips and drink... not a bad deal!

Small place and I hear they have another location uptown somewhere... Good to see lobster rolls coming to NYC. Don't have to go to Maine for one!

Pretty good lobster rolls. I had the lobster roll and it came with chips and a drink. The lobster roll was good and left me wanting more. The root beer was great to wash it down. I really liked the bun, which is different from the average bun I've had at other places that serve lobster rolls.The lobster itself tasted really fresh and it didn't have a lot else to mask the taste which I loved. I'm glad to see lobster rolls are becoming popular in NYC.

Delish! So happy to have 2 locations!. I was at Luke's downtown location last week and couldn't get enough of their delicious lobster roll! The meat was sooo tender, complimented by the buttery bun and a touch of mayonaise - and just the right amount of seasoning. It was simple and perfect. The "Schooner" (value meal) as they call it, includes a lobster roll, chips and a ginger or root beer from Maine - all for $16. (Or you can get a crab or shrimp roll if you prefer, they're cheaper too). I thought this was a pretty good deal for lobster in Manhattan. On Sat I was out with my best friend who happens to live across the street from the uptown location... I had the same meal and loved it twice as much! I'm going to Maine at the end of the month and can't wait to taste the competition. Keep up the good work, Luke!!

I love Luke's!. I stopped in with a group of friends and we all split the lobster rolls. Having tried a few places in the city, I wasn't sure how Luke's would rank, but its right up there. The space is like a little shack. The people behind the counter were super friendly. We felt like we were at the beach with the high stools, bottled soda and the laid back atmosphere. The rolls are toasted (makes all the difference!!) and the lobster chunks are huge! I have paid a pretty penny for a larger roll in other places in the city but the lobster is hacked to bits and not as tasty. Luke's makes an amazing lobster roll!

Lovely Lobster Rolls. I love lobster rolls and I admit, the first time I tried Luke's Lobster I wasn't blown away. But I gave it another go and I really liked it a lot. The lobster salad was cold and very flavorful, and the bun was soft but not too soggy, and lightly warm and buttered - a nice complement to the lobster salad. This is definitely a great summer spot.

Great Lobster Roll on a Warm Day. I had the snack size lobster roll a few weeks back (I think it was $8). Now I've tried Luke's Lobster several times before and wasn't a fan, but thought I'd give it one more try. It was a hot May day, and unlike the times before, I loved the contrast of the cold lobster with the hot roll. In the past on cooler days when I tried it, I would have much preferred an entire warm roll, but with the warm temperature outside, this lobster roll was suddenly very refreshing. I also liked the spices in the lobster claw that Luke's Lobster leaves on the table for you to try. Only problem I have with this place is if you wanted to go out to lunch and catch up with friends, you can't really do so here because it is counter-only seating.

Super Fresh Lobster Roll. This is the best lobster roll I have in Manhattan. It is very fresh, refreshing and they give you a generous portion for their rolls.

The snack size is $8 and I always wish it is bigger! I heard they have great chowder and they do delivery now too so come down here and get your own!

Tasty lobster snack. I'd spent a long day walking around NYC. Dinner wasn't for another few hours, so we figured we'd go into Luke's to get a quick snack.

The lobster roll was very satisfying. Of course, with any lobster roll, it's going to be small, but for $15, I wanted a little bit more. Anyway, the lobster is so buttery, and the bread was perfectly toasted. And they add some salty seasoning the just brings out the flavor even more.

The worst part was that I accidentally dropped a chunk of lobster on the floor. There went $1 :(

This place will not last long. I was so excited to hear that Luke's Lobster was opening. I was reading about it all over the place. I finally went yesterday and I was not impressed. I don't understand what all the hype was for. I tried all the rolls, lobster, shrimp and crab they all had this horrible seasoning on it. The empress crab claws smelled so fishy and left my hands stinking. No one beat's Mary's Fish Camp. I would not recommend Luke's.
