Liat picked up tarot cards when she was a teenager and began exploring them. She has been reading the cards for over 25 years.
Liat has lived in 3 different countries and has 2 degrees in Psychology and Group Analytic Psychotherapy. She has worked in the hospital systems in both London and Sydney. She and her family came to New York in 2002. Liat isn't licensed as a therapist in New York, and so turned to her old love, and became a full time Tarot Card reader.
Liat has worked in a dating agency, a modeling agency and a recruitment firm. She knows a lot about exploring what matters in your life. Her readings are intuitive perceptive and also, fun.

My tarot reading with Liat was exactly what I had hoped for. In the beginning she did what she calls a cold read, ie she lays out the cards and tells you what she sees without knowing anything about you. In my case her interpretations were spot on. I read the cards for myself sometimes and had been looking for an unbiased read. Afterwards we talked about strategies to modify certain aspects of my life/environment to clear my path. I sought her out based on the reviews I had read online and based on her experience as a counselor/therapist. My reading with her was a very cleansing, enlightening and solid experience. I am sure I will see her again in a little while down the road.. and I am very much looking forward to it.

My tarot reading experience with Liat,
who is warm, friendly, articulate, intelligent, and sincere... still somehow left something to be desired. In retrospect, I think my expectations were misaligned. I was hoping for more of a "psychic reading", I guess.
Liat's style definitely reflects her experience as a counselor and therapist. She laid out the cards, went over their common interpretations, and then she sort of looked to me to fill in the blanks and tell her what they meant to me. With almost half the cards she drew, I felt myself grasping for straws at what they might pertain to. I also felt like her strongest advice had nothing to do with the cards- it was the type of advice, though valuable, that one gets from their best friend or mentor. All this is NOT to say her readings aren't worthwhile...but I would recommend her more for someone who has a specific problem they want to talk through. I would view her as a therapist/counselor who uses the cards as a tool to generate dialogue, rather than a reader with a psychic gift who will lay out the cards and ALSO have impressions and predictions.
Liat reads the cards in a very no-nonsense, by-the-books way....but in the end, maybe I *want* a little nonsense from a tarot card reader! That might be my biggest revelation.

I found my reading with Liat to be a pleasant, warm, friendly and objective experience. This was my first reading since the 1990s and I did it with some trepidation, but her accurate reading of my situation was able to clarify many things for me and to see where I was heading. Liat gives you an honest look at where you are, as well as honest advice on how to get to where you want to be. As others have mentioned she always talks about free will as well as the unexpected and that nothing is written in stone. Her initial cold reading was excellent and as we went forward she was honest about the choices that I needed to make and the things that I need to change and think about. She follows up via email to go over certain issues, which arose in the reading and need to be addressed. This is a very nice personal touch. I will most definitely see Liat again sometime in the autumn as I found the hour spent with her to be insightful and fun.

Talking with Liat was special for me...From the beginning I felt like I knew her since years ago ... after the reading I was her biggest fan.
She's really good with the cards, she's honest and she's a very open minded advisor.

Simply Honest.
Liat was really approachable and pretty accurate on my current state of mine.....for anyone that might find themselves at a crossroad, she will facilitate the road to an plan of action through her expertise in reading.
No fuss, no awkwardness, just simply honest and fluid but you would also have to be open yourself and not walk in with skepticism.

Liat is great!.
This was my first reading with Liat, and after having read all the positive reviews, I really looked forward to my own reading. It's been a wonderful experience, Liat has a special connection with cards, and she is a great interpreter and narrator.
The cold showed exactly what was going on with my life, and my past. The other part of the reading was related to particular questions. I needed a guidance, and cards, along with Liat's interpretation, suggested me what to do. Now it's up to me. I look forward to having another reading with Liat as soon as possible.
I had the sensation she is a very profound and genuine person, and she transmits a lot of positive energy.
