Had a great time, Good Food Great Place

I had family in from out of town last week. We brought the kids and family members to Brinkley's for dinner. None of us expected much but we were very plesantly suprised. The food was very hearty and everyone, from the kids to grandparents enjoyed. This place is not the old bar martignetti, it is the new brinkley's.

Promising New Place

I'm suprised to read the other reviews here but we did go on a slower sunday night so I'm sure our experience was different. Our waitress let us know about their vegetarian dish for the night which we ordered. Needed a little salt but it was creative and filling. Maybe this is a new policy they've started. The entire staff was nice and friendly even though it was a slow night. I'm sure they have some kincks to work out but overall idea is there. I'll give it a shot again.

NEVER GOING BACK

All their PR and press has billed this place as a "Pub" - Tried to go on a Saturday night at 9p when the crowd was light and bar seats were open and we were stopped at the door by a rude, hulking doorman who treated us like tourists/homeless people, saying that we could only go in if we were eating dinner - Hello, then call the @*CKING place a "restaurant" in your press/info, not a "pub" or a "bar" -- never going back to this place -

- Cons: Billed as a "PUB" but no access for bar/people seeking drink
