Massage was uncomfortable, unprofessional and gropy!

I received a gift certificate for a massage here and immediately felt uncomfortable with the unprofessional and inappropriate etiquette of the man who gave me my massage.

I also felt the masseur did not put forth any effort to cover me up, and I was completely shocked when he completely REMOVED the towel WITHOUT ASKING and spent an agonizing 10 minutes massaging my buttocks! I was frozen and uncomfortable and finally told him I was not okay with that. He responded, "Oh did I hurt you?" to which I said, "Sir, I don't want you to touch me there again." He did not touch me there again, HOWEVER he left the towel off!!! I was completely exposed and had to reach around AND PUT IT BACK MYSELF! Completely inappropriate and shady, I was in shock.

I have had many full-body massages in my life, by men and women, as well as brazilian waxes, and have NEVER before felt violated in any way. I even looked up masseuse ethics and rules, and it says you are NEVER to touch private areas (including the buttocks) unless you ASK PERMISSION. This was a very unfortunate experience, maybe this is an okay place for waxing (though I shall never return), but IT IS NOT FOR MASSAGES!

Bad Customer Service

I purchased a Lifebooker certificate for C-Wax over 2 weeks ago and I have been trying to call them to book an appt everyday, but no one ever answered the phone. They are crooks and I want my money back!!!!!! I have yet to get a service or my money back since the purchase over 2 weeks ago!

C wax not to the max

I took my mum there for a massage. I wish there was more information on the web about its appearance or else i would've gone elsewhere. It's pretty dumpy, you walk in and i was like "oh". The salon up front is unorganized and blah. I got a half off coupon from some site so i couldn't just turn around and leave. My mum said the massage was good though. But it's not a calm place at all. Go elsewhere for better impressions.

To pay for the BEST BRAZILIAN in NYC u can't go anywhere else but C WAX. This means NO redness, NO bumps, NO ingrowns, & NO PAIN!!

CRISTINA is amazing. She shapes exactly how you want it, & whips you into shape in 15mins. I HIGHLY recmnd her ladies!!! She's a darling. The $65 is all for the skill and professionalism, these Brazilians know their craft.

Terrible Massage

I had a coupon from BuyWithMe for a deep tissue massage from C Wax and I left thinking they had no idea what they were doing. For the price I was willing to overlook the bare-bones facilities and not-soothing ambience but the massage was not firm enough and I kept having to ask to be covered better. The masseuse also used way too much oil which I could still smell even after showering. Maybe their bikini waxes are okay but I would not go for a massage.
