“Great food & friendly staff”
“Love that a great hole in the wall has finally found its place on the upper east side.”
“The food is good (when it got there) but the waitress forgot to give us our tortilla for the salsa as a starter, the guacamole was not as good as the first time, very bland.”
“Gorditas where amazing, tacos yummy and all for an affordable price.”
“It's a shame too, the food is good (when you don't eat it cold after waiting 20 minutes for lime) but if they can't handle the orders, don't open during lunch.”
Great food served here! The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be visiting soon.
Nice place. Service can be somewhat faster still the food is very good and there is something for everyone on their menu. Guinness is great :) Also prices are decent.
Definitely a great place food was great so was their service. Will visit again soon
highly reccomended. This is a place that offers delivery and in restaurant service, and the delivery is on par with the food in house. The guacamole is fantastic- you can see and taste the cilantro, tomato, spices, everything; easily beats out Dos Caminos version. The fare is a real departure from the cheap taco-taco,taco city, happy taco etc. restaurants; you know- the Asian owned Tex Mex fast food that overpopulates this city. That said, Cascabel does not fall into the trap of overpriced Mexican fusion places. Try the guacamole, corn on the cob side, tortilla soup, and old standby tacos. The take away for me is the quality of food- for example, the corn chips are fresh , even delivered in a rain storm they show up warm, fresh, unbroken ( and perfectly designed for dipping) if you eat in, they have snow cones ( at a reasonable $2) Give it a try, it may become a staple...
