Delicious Pho.
I came here for a simple bowl of Pho and was quite satisfied. It costs $6 for a big bowl and comes with plenty of beef.
I think a good bowl of pho lies in the broth. It is clear, savory and not too much MSG. The restaurant itself is clean and service was very quick. I would love to come back again soon!
Citysearch Editorial Review. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown, but this one stands out, not only for its idiosyncratic island decor (bamboo chairs, bright murals depicting beach scenes, ceilings painted like the sky) but also for its excellent pho. Available with everything from brisket to fish balls to barbecue chicken, this rice noodle soup is a complex delight with hints of cinnamon, star anise and basil. Other dishes like sautéed beef cubes, barbecued pork chops over rice and shrimp with lemongrass provide hearty pho alternatives.
