Don't waste your time or money. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to have really good service and I used to really enjoy going here. In the past couple of months the service has been f**king awful. MY GF and I just left after waiting an hour for a food order.

When I told the waiter I wanted to pay for my drinks and just leave he threw me major attitude and asked me if I wanted a manager. What the f**k am I going to do with a manager? The damage is done s**t for brains. Maybe if your mother had any children who lived I could have gotten some decent service, but since you're a f**king brain dead retard that didn't happen. What the f**k is the manager going to do? Make excuses?

In summation, go elsewhere. Astoria Brewhouse has location going for it and nothing else. Not anymore. There are better places not much further away like Rapture, Sweet Afton or Broadway Station.

Save yourself money, cook at home instead. It will taste better.. This place is terrible. I'm just writing a comment to bring down their rating because the 5 star ratings are clearly written by their owners. I felt completely unwelcome both times that I've been there and the food was not even half good enough to compensate.

Best Burger in queens. Best burger in queens guaranteed!! Friendly staff, excellent service and all round great atmosphere.I have been going there since they opened and the quality and consistency in there food and drinks is always top class. There are loads of TVs and show every sporting event. Also a party room up stairs with a heated smoking area.It has everything for everyone.Try it your self, you wont be dissapointed.I never am!

Nice place with good people. I was there when the previous reviewer was, and he deserved to be asked to be quiet. I've been going there for years to watch the football games, and recently more often to just hang out. The food is good, the staff is polite and attentive and it's a nice place to have a drink or a meal.

Don't have too much fun or you'll be told to SHUT UP!. ok...this place pretends to be a sports bar/lounge BUT LET ME TELL YOU...if you get too excited over a sporting event THEY TELL YOU TO SHUT UP...I know, I couldn't believe it either!

Last night, 11/13/08, biggest JETS game of the season vs. the Patriots: they had every TV with the game on, sound blasting and when the JETS scored a touchdown we cheered...obviously right?? Aren't you supposed to cheer when your team scores, while you're in a sports bar?? apparently not...some waiter comes up to us and basically tells us to shut up...really nasty about it too!

Keep in mind, we live around the corner and we're regulars here...NOT ANYMORE WE'RE NOT!!

So if you want to have a good time, this is not the place....and if you decide to try it, just remember the library rule and keep quiet.

Decent Food, Terrible Restaurant. I'll start off by stating that the food isn't that bad.

That said, I've never been to a more terribly run restaurant. I've been dining at Indigo for almost a year now and had become somewhat of a "regular" at the restaurant. Having been around this atmosphere during this time, I have come to the conclusion that this is far and away the most poorly run restaurant I have ever been around. Every week it seems as though another member of the friendly wait-staff has either quit or been fired. It's as though the owners insist on pushing people out the door as soon as possible. I remember one of the girls even joking that the owners "try to make sure that they fire everyone before they've been there more than three months." It's very difficult enjoying your time at a place where the entire staff works in constant fear of being fired. Personally, I can no longer overlook this fact.

Bottom line, if you want decent food at a reasonable price, feel free to go here.

If you want to avoid giving your money to a God-awful ownership group, you might want to consider another restaurant...

not recommended for sunday brunch. went there for sunday brunch as reviews highly recommended.when we entered nobody even paid attention.we were standing in the middle of a bar like 5 minutes not knowing how to act as it was pretty busy and not many tables were free.at last we took the menu from the waiters station by ourselves coz we were not familiar with it and hesitating weather to stay (after such a welcoming greeting).at last a busboy showed us a table which we regret after like nearly half an hour waiting just for a waiter to come up to take our order.then other 20 min. waiting only for the drinks to come though the food came right a couple minutes later.and it was rather mediocre, can't say anything bad but just ok.doesn't worth it at all.after reading all the positive reviews about their brunch we were totally disappointed.though have to say that it was a complete failure of the management as it was only one waiter running like a chicken for the whole bar.

Great brunch!!. Hands down, my favorite brunch place. Every time I go, they're laid-back, the service is good, the food is really good and it's just a nice, relaxing experience.

The french toast w/ orange-infused butter is great, as well as the 3 cheese omelet (it's a special, so it's not always available). The Cobb salad is also very good.

They have quite a few drink options for brunch (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). And you get 2 drinks, plus the meal for $14. It's a comparable deal to the rest of the brunch places around but it's great food!

If it's nice outside, sit in the patio/garden area (downstairs). It's an enclosed patio, with moveable skylights, so there's always natural light, and it a very relaxing atmosphere (moreso than the bar area inside). That being said, in the winter, I eat inside and I've had a great time there as well.

Highly recommended!

Editorial Review. This sleek Astoria restaurant and bar serves American and Continental cuisine, with a back patio big enough for 100 people.
