Huge Selection of Belgian Beer and Wine – If you need a place to go with friends where they serve good Belgium Beer and seats, Belgian Room has all that. I don't know why it is not very packed but I am surprised to find seats available on Friday night for a table for 4.
They have a huge selection of Belgian beer and wine, if that is what you are in the mood for. If you want domestic beer and your rum and coke, you would be disappointed here.
Citysearch Editorial Review – Once dead and buried, this comprehensive East Village beer bar makes a triumphant return in its original locale. Like a zombie felled by a shotgun blast, the Belgian Room seemed down for the count. But the good-beer emporium staged an unlikely resurrection, returning to slake the thirst of NYC’s suds-loving hordes. As before, the dark lounge is a mixture of low-slung couches, tables and bar stools, with flickering candles to keep the scene relaxed and, surprisingly, romantic. The draft brews are a concise selection of draft favorites (Delirium Tremens, Ommegang Witte) and bottles, including gold-star selections such as Duchesse De Bourgogne and monk-made ales from Brasserie de Rochefort.
