One of the best restaurants in NYC. Piatto D' Oro II is delicious! I love them and the staff is amazingly friendly. They remember me everytime I stepp foot in the door. Just the thought of the food here makes me salavate. Everything and I mean everything at this restaurant is delectable!!

hidden gem. Romantic, charming and tucked away on a bland block of spanish harlem. It was such an unexpected surprise to find this gem! The food is incredible - particularly the risotto and the lasagna (the best in new york!). The owner and staff are fantastic - attentive without being overbearing. This is a the real new york italian experience, and nobody does it better.

The Best. This is my favorite place. A wonderful hidden treasure. Excellent service, food and ambiance. This is the best kept secret in all of NYC. I highly recommend to everyone.

Best Italian Food in Harlem!. my boyfriend and i ate here recently on a quiet sunday evening and absolutely loved it! this place is the definition of a hidden gem. i came across it by chance while walking around trying to familiarize myself with the neighbourhood. my boyfriend (who's italian) was beginning to give up all hope of finding good italian food in harlem... until piatto d'oro. it's small and cozy, and while it doesn't seem like much from the outside, when you walk in you are greeted with a warm, romantic, meditteranean charm... the tables were accented with candle light and pink roses and we were treated with great service the entire time. the owner is a sweet man who clearly takes pride in his business... i am a huge stickler for good service and i felt attended to at all times without ever feeling harassed. i would definitely recommend this restaurant. we didn't try their pizza (maybe next time) but their main courses were really good... we had the linguine frutti di mare and the shrimp fettucine alfredo, both extremely fresh. what more can i say? i will definitely be going back... this is officially my fave restaurant in harlem!

ps. if you like a red wine with a touch of "sweet", try their shiraz!

best pizza in harlem!!!!. i am so happy i took a chance on menupages and ordered pizza from piatto doro. it was sooo good. the pasta was also really good. they are quick and worth every penny!!!!!!!

Favorite neighborhood restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in my neighborhood. The food is consistently delicious. Service is quick and efficient, and the manager/owner is incredibly warm and friendly. He takes the time to talk to you, learn your name, and gives very good wine recommendations. I no longer need to go downtown for great Italian!
