Excellent seafood, superior, friendly service, beautiful views. My favorite is the red clam sauce! The hot lobster roll is also delicious. Great choice for a great meal.

Absolutely the best venue in the Throggs Neck area with an adjacent waterfront view. A delicious, reasonably priced menu that has home-style dishes for families, friends and community. The staff is pleasant and friendly providing excellent service with a smile. I recommend it to everyone!!!! I will be back again many times to come.

Very Good Food. From the food to the service, it was a very good. Highly recommend the lobster bisque-delicious and creamy! The steak selection is good and at wonderful prices...especially now a days having a steak dinner out can cost a small fortune. But, here at Ice House, I'd say, everything here on the menu is affordable and good!

very nice surprise. I was helping a friend.she needed a place for about 35 people. She had friends & family visiting from out of town for a family emergency. the reviews I read were all positive and the price was so much better than other restaurants in the neighborhood. So, I thought go for it. The food was great and the atmosphere is very friendly... It was perfect for a family gathering. we showed up with about 50 people and they were able to accommodate us. the only problem was not even theirs...google directions are not clear for out of towners. the address listed on the site is not the actual physical address, and though google maps instruct one to take 177th street, they really mean the service road for rt 295,,,out of towners would not know that..though the map shows it clearly, I will definitely return for a dinner date with my husband .

Awesome steak special!!. This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the bronx. I used to eat at Patricia"s but the last few times I was there the food was awful and so was the service.

Found the Icehouse by accident and its my new favorite place. The steak special is unbeatable at $25.00 for an entire meal and no one has clams on the half shell for $6.00 a dozen.

The view of the bridge at night is breathtaking. The food and service are always excellent. Give it a try. I promise you'll love it.

Best wings is an understatement.. After dining at the Icehouse tonight to try their famous wings that I heard so much about, I was more than pleasantly surprised. To say the wings are the best in the Bronx is an understatement. They are the best in the world. I couldn't stop with just the wings so I had to sample some other items on the extensive menu.

The calamari poblamo was to die for as well as the home made napoleon that I had for dessert. It was like no napoleon I had ever tasted and it was huge.

The ambiance was charming with a beautiful view of the Throggs Neck bridge all lit up as well as all the boats coming in and out of the marina. The service was excellent. The waitstaff could not be more accomodating or charming. Especially the two that were working tonight.

I would highly recommend this restaurant and can not wait to go back and sample some more delicious items on the menu.

Ice House is the BEST. The Ice House is our overall favorite restaurant in the city. Valentine's Day was excellent thanks to the Ice House's Owner and staff.

I wasn't sure what my girlfriend and I were going to do for Valentine's Day but we knew we didn't want to go home and cook. So we called our favorite restaurant in the Bronx at 5:45 PM on Valentine's Day. Although reservations were needed the staff went out of their way to make room for us. After looking over a pre-fix menu which had an excellent selection, we both decided on the Filet Mignon with truffles. The steak was cooked to perfection and the vegetables and truffles were excellent. I was stuffed to the gills but could not stop eating. This was after eating the Ice house's delicious lobsster bisque soup and pasta appertizer. The dinner also included desert and coffee, I was going to pass on desert but the staff was nice enough to give it to us to go. Oh, I almost forgot the bottle of wine and heart of candy which was also included in the price.

I highly recommend the Ice House, if you haven't tried it you are missing a true gem of the Bronx.

Best Kept Secret in the Bronx. We eat there often and didn't think we could make it for Valentine Day because of scheduling. Was thrilled to hear that the special Valentine menu was available Friday through Valentine Day. We started the meal with their award winning Manhattan clam chowder. The Filet Mignon Al Olio De Tartufo (filet mignon served with mixed wild mushrooms, fresh herbs and white truffle flavored oil) could rival the fare of a gourmet restaurant. I ordered well and was a little concerned that it would be tough. OMG, it cut like butter. The free bottle of wine and boxed chocolates were a lovely touch. Looking forward to the warmer weather to sit out on the deck to watch the sunset and the bridge lights again.
