Great experience in the big apple. Polar NYC. I celebrated my 24th birthday last weekend at Polar and had an excellent time! The space was exactly what I expected after reading a decent number of reviews - I highly recommend getting a cave. JSN Productions was extremely helpful in setting everything up and gave us a free bottle of vodka. the staff at Polar were also great and very helpful. Bottom line: great birthday spot!!!

Great birthday spot!. Polar Lounge was a perfect venue for my birthday party. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lounge itself is gorgeous; the ice caves in the back are cozy and great for mingling with friends. The music was great, and all my friends had a great time.

Best of all, Joshua over at JSN Productions helped me book the party ahead of time with a deal on bottle service. This made my birthday seamless and stressless. Thank you so much for making my birthday so memorable and fun!

Polar Lounge. Polar Lounge is a great venue for any special event, or just a gorgeous place to grab a drink. I had my birthday party here last weekend, and booked its through Birthday BottleService. Birthday BottleService was prompt and so helpful in getting me the venue that I wanted (Polar) and we were also able to get one of the beautiful and lavish VIP caves.

The lounge itself is small, but it's beautiful. The decor was silver and icey, hence the name. The DJ was also great too (Saturday night). The staff was wonderful, as soon as my guests arrived, they were kind and helpful and escorted us down to our VIP area. The host was also sweet. My guests and I had a great time. The cave can fit about 10 people comfortably. A great night out for the girls, or just with a few friends. I would absolutely go back again!

Cool Atmosphere. The ambiance and atmosphere of the lounge is great, and the music on a Friday night is just right to enjoy some drinks and dance with friends. I recommend this place to any one looking for a laid back Friday night outing in NYC.

I recommended booking large parties for Polar through AccessGotham. com. They ensured a smooth, stress free night, and they delivered.

Polar Lounge :). Went here for a friends birthday and he reserved one of the VIP caves with a separate sound system. This place is unlike any other venue in NYC. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and check it out.

The night was terrific because there wasn't a single hassle. My friend booked his party through AccessGotham, not that familiar with them but I know they offer there services for free which is nice.

The staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs throughout the night. The place also had a young 20's crowd which is always good. Can't wait to go back!

watch your bill at the end of the night!. I had my birthday party here last month and reserved a "cave" with a 2 bottle minimum. Do NOT have your party here!! Management is greedy and will do anything to steal your hard-earned money away from you. Watch your bill at the end of the night!!! The party itself was fine, but there were maybe 15 people that werent there for my party in the entire place (this is a friday night). The cocktails were sugary sweet and expensive. There is no point in getting a "cave" because when we got there, there were other people sitting in the caves for free. Also, one of my friends left her purse in there and $100 was stolen from it.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Located in the basement of the Hotel Marcel at Gramercy, this subterranean space takes its inspiration from the Arctic Circle. Exposed brick walls painted metallic silver, faceted mirrors and dangling crystal chandeliers glisten like icicles. The motif is completed with plush faux-fur pillows piled upon oversized tufted banquettes, all of which makes for a swanky yet comfy lounge. Although the main area holds a mere 100 patrons, those in search of a more private getaway can reserve one of the three igloo-esque dens. Hidden in the back of the lounge, these polar caves are perfect for canoodling twosomes or hibernating parties of up to 12 peeps.
