Great. Great club! I did enjoy my night out over there; music was fine, the service and drinks were not bad at all. Really nice atmosphere. We were a bit skeptical regarding the door policy though..the first time we went there the line was huge, it took us almost an hour to get into the club. The second time we were 9people and we booked a Limo night out package for like $160 , for 1h limo tour and admission in the club skipping the line (limotournyc) that was a pretty good deal! Anyway I’ll definitely go back there!

Tasteless!. ATROCIOUS!!! Some friends and I went there to celebrate our girlfriend's birthday in December, at the SKY ROOM. I, along with two friends arrived early and gave our names at the door. To this we were told that name wasn't on some list. Then told us the cover was $20, which we paid. We decided to wait in the lobby, since the guest of honor hadn't arrived yet. I remember thinking that downstairs looked posh, upstairs was bound to have something great in stores for us. We notice that some people were being charged less than we were. I called her to the side, when she had not guests, to ask her why there was a difference in price. Having not gone there before I was curious. She told me that different promoters charge rates. OK! 'She's not a promoter" I said. "Yeah, but that's just how it is". I sat back down, and waited for our friends to arrive. On my guard I listened as she told white patrons that the cover was $10 for ladies and $20 for men. At that point my friend arrived---thankfully. There was a lengthy conversation between her and the DOORMAN. He comes through the door mutter something about the size of the bottle service she'd ordered (it was 8 of us), but I was busy inquiring through "gestures" if there was a problem, and whether or not we were leaving? This door troll then exits, and re-enters in a burst, and to my outrage says that the hostess should give us our money back, because he didn't want us there. I gladly took my money, and proceeded to call him an "A-hole" I might have said I know-- highly inappropriate, but I was livid. I had never experienced (what I ultimately came to terms with as) such blatant RACISM before; and I certainly wasn't expecting it in the place which probably is the biggest melting pot, NYC. They overcharged my friends and I, expecting that we wouldn't pay a $20 cover charge. Seriously? Then basically chased us out. I guess we provided too much of a contrast for their pristine white decor. I'd never felt so violated. I would not ever go back to this place. People will probably turn a blind eye to my review, but I felt I should speak; this is unacceptable. I don't know if it's just the DOORMAN or if this is a common practice, but something is very wrong. I went there expecting an experience that I would be talking about to people. Boy did I get an experience, just hoped it would have been a good one.

Great views and awesome for After Work. I've hosted many After work events at Sky Room on Fridays. The place is beautiful. Has a floor for lounging and conversation and second floor is more for mingling and dancing. The rooftop has stunning views of Manhattan. Their happy hour menu is great - You have to try the Rustica Pizza. Just check their site for specials. On Fridays Overtime hosts their events, and you can get a lot of perks. I highly recommend this for checking out when people are visiting NYC, as it's the tallest rooftop (i think?). Overall I highly recommend Sky Room!

Horrible Communication. I tried to plan my friends birthday here for 8/5/11. The week of 8/1/11 I placed several calls to SkyRoom. First, I was told that ordering a party package (which range from $250-$900) would ensure I get a table on the roof. I was planning on doing that anyway. Then I called again asking about an email I received. I was then told that tables were $1000 and didnt include anything. I was actually told to "go elsewhere". On the day of my friends birthday, Friday, 8/5/11 I called on more time. I was told that reservations werent until 8-9pm anyway, so that I should "just come in" at 4pm. I was promised a table on the roof until at least 9pm. How embarrassed was I when I got there and was told the roof was closed due to a private party!!!! They couldnt tell me this??? I walked in with 5 people and 15 more were on their way! Several calls to management went unanswered and unreturned. I would NEVER try going there again. I would NEVER give my busines to this establishment. And I spread to word out to all my friends and they all feel the same. Their communication, both on their site on with whoever answers their phone leaves a lot to be desired.

SKYROOM ROCKS!!. Ive been doing parties at Skyroom for over 2 years, excellent location, beautiful establishment, excellent staff and crew. Never a problem!

Very goog Rooftop!!!!. Hi,

I went to skyroom many times during my vacation, and it was awesome!

Great vue, great peapole. It was an amazing party! And my friends and i hadn't any problems with the staff!

I advice you to go to skyroom!
