Perfect!. Everything you could want in a wine bar! The selection is not overwhelmingly large, but they have something amazing for every taste. The atmosphere is really comfortable (probably not great for groups larger than 4 people). Prices are really reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and unpretentious...a rare grouping of qualities.
Citysearch Editorial Review. Although one might infer from its name that this bar is a dive filled with beer-chugging frat boys, don't be misled; the Drunken Horse is far more sophisticated. An offshoot of Turks & Frogs, this upscale wine bar is high-class all the way. The wine list focuses on Italian, French and Spanish varieties, while a Turkish influenced menu offers as assortment of delicious small bites. Seats nestled near the retractable glass windows in the front lounge area provide a breezy yet comfy spot to people-watch. The dimly lit back dining area also has a few cafe tables, which make for a more intimate experience.
Great Find. I stumbled upon this place after looking for a spot to grab a drink after exploring the highline. This is a great place its open windows and relaxing atmosphere is perfect for what were looking for. I highly recommend trying the grilled cheese with some meats as well.
