No better than a lying mechanic

I went in for a tooth cleaning with Dr. Appolon. She cleaned my teeth, and then told me that I had three cavities, and perhaps others that were in their early stages. I am not someone who is prone to cavities and felt no pain in my mouth, so I was very surprised. Before I had even sat up in the chair, she was forcing me to set a date for a follow-up appointment to have the cavities filled. I'm lucky my BS alarm went off... I went to my normal dentist for a second opinion. He looked at the X-rays she took, and saw nothing. Called her to ask for notes or if he was missing anything. She hung up on him. He looked at my teeth throughly, and said that I had no cavities.

I must conclude that Karthilde Appolon was just trying to make money off my perfectly healthy teeth!

Awesome Dentist

I highly recommend Dr. Appolon. I've been going to Dr. Appolon since the early years when she was practicing at 116th St and 2nd Avenue in Spanish Harlem. I remember feeling nervous of just the though of going to the Dentist, but for some reason Dr. Appolon really helped me transition in a less anxious client. I remember her saying to me "if you feel any discomfort raise my hand, and I will stop" and she is absolutely true and really caring. Now, that I'm a mom, I will taking my son to her as well to myself as I continue to care for my teeth.

Finally found a good Dentist

I have really bad teeth, I haven't been that good to them over the years. I've avoided dentist for a while mostly due to bad experiences or them making me feel bad about my teeth. With Dr Appolon I felt totally comfortable and even more importantly I felt informed about what was about to happen in my mouth. I left with cavities filled and no pain or discomfort afterwards. Dr Appolon provides excellent service as well as being friendly and current. I have been recommending to friends and family.

Great Dentist who cares

My experience with Dr. Appolon was great. She really took her time with me and made me feel comfortable. She was thorough while cleaning and examining my teeth and explained everything to me. It was my first visit with her. When I left the office, I looked forward to returning and I felt inspired to take better care of my teeth

A real live Dentist with no issues! Best in NYC

Dr. Appolon or Dr. Karty as she likes to be called is by far the best dentist I've ever visited. Her office is modern, but cozy, and does its best to help you forget you are at the dentist. I was most impressed by her knowledge of modern dentistry. I got the feeling that she was up on the latest trends more so than my former dentist who was well in his 60's. New machinery (star trek inspired I'm sure) and good old bedside manner, made me feel like I was getting top notch care. Being in the financial (yes still with a job) field, her hours are accommodating to someone with a hectic schedule. If you are person who wants quality service, cares about how you look, drops off your laundry (jk, but really) and want to be treated like the CFO you will be, Dr. Karty Appolon is your best bet. Later fellow yuppies.
