Surprised at what I found.. It was the first of the month and the rent was due. My husband had lost his job over 6 months ago and we were trying to survive on his unemployment compensation and my part time job. We had just incurred a large car repair bill to make things even worse. We did not know what to do to scrape up the balance of the rent. A woman I work with suggested I look to see if I had any old gold or jewelry and to take it to Buy and Sell Jewelry New York. I scoured my boxes and drawers and was surprised at what I found. An old charm bracelet, a couple gold rings, a broken bracelet, a few silver dollars, a couple single gold earrings and a few more items. I left the store with more than we needed to pay the rent. I was so glad.. I stopped wearing a watch when I got my first cell phone. I had an old Cartier that I bought in the great eighties with some disposable income. I brought it to Buy and Sell Jewelry New York and they gave me 1475.00 for it. Almost as much as I originally paid. I was so glad that I got that money back. Now if they would only buy my old eighties albums.

I felt like I won the lottery.. I was at a yard sale in New Jersey and purchased a box lot of costume jewelry for five dollars. While sorting it out I came upon a silver ring with a blue stone surrounded by several small rhinestones or diamonds. I was not really sure. There were a couple of marks that were so worn I could not make them out. I brought the ring to Buy and Sell Jewelry New York and the nice appraiser informed me that it was a platinum ring from the early 1900s with a sapphire and diamonds. It was worth 3000.00 to them and they gave me cash on the spot. I felt like I won the lottery.

Thankful to have You!!!!. My car insurance payment was over due and was set to be cancelled at midnight. I had just paid my rent and was really low on cash.
