Everyone talks a big game when it comes to seasonal cooking, but to my mind this place and Gramercy are the final word on the subject. I'm not completely in love with the room but the food is good in winter, glorious in spring, inspiring in summer, and very good in fall.
Best food in the City.
I get a lot of allergies and or stomach problems after eating out. However, after eating at ABC I had neither of the above. The food was delicious; the service GREAT!!! and the ambiance is to die for. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!
I will be there again with my family, friends and my organization. It lived up to the standard of serving "Real Organic Food".
Another restaurant Ill never go to. This now joins the ranks of a restaurant I will never go to again. The first was Gotham Bar and Grill which I still love. This place was never all that great anyway. I miss gotham, but wont miss ABC kitchen. the reason for why Im never going to these two places again you may be wondering is because they've both hosted fundraising events for da bama
Horrible Lunch. This was the WORST Lunch/Restaurant experience we had on our recent trip to New York. When you're paying 27.00 dollars for a Turkey Club and 3.00 for every refill of ice tea, you should get good service. The service was AWFUL. We never really knew who our server was. The place was packed and all the servers were all clustered around the computer station putting in orders and chatting with each other. The food took forEVER, the service, when we got it was slow. And for the most part, every server seemed uninterested in being either friendly or accommodating. Will never go back and encourage them bump up the service. It was just awful. That said, the food, when we got it was good, but not great.
Excellent Dining Experience!. I was more than pleased with my dining experience at ABC Kitchen! First let me start my stating that it is one of the most beautiful new restaurants in the city. The food was amazing! Great appetizers, muddled drinks, and entrees. I went with one of my girlfriends, but I would highly suggest this place for a date or special occasion. Very romantic atmosphere.
Citysearch Editorial Review. Expensive, eclectic ABC Carpet & Home has three eateries, including this one, which comes courtesy of famed restaurateur Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Using organic and local ingredients, executive chef Dan Kluger (formerly of Tabla, Union Square Café, and Core) serves seasonal New American fare like kasha and bowtie pasta topped with homemade meatballs, roasted Chatham cod with citrus emulsion and rotating whole-wheat pizzas designed by consulting chef Jim Lahey (of the Sullivan Street Bakery). Naturally, the low-lit, largely white dining room has its own share of environmentally sound bona fides, such as repurposed wood and artisan-crafted dishware.
