“highly recommend this place to anyone needing a good, relaxing massage without wanting to spend a lot of money.”
Good, Solid, No-frills deep tissue relaxation massage.
I recently moved to mid-town to work. Sitting in front of a computer with 4 screens for 10+ hours a day taxes my neck and shoulder heavily, to the point I know I have to do something or get permanently injured soon. One of the symptom is that my upper arm start to hurt and I involuntarily need to twist my neck to relieve the tension while siting in front of a TV or driving.
Pleasantly surprised to find this place. I've been to other Chinese massage places, some of them also offer acupuncture hence is arguably more medically oriented. This place stands out as it is extremely clean, quiet, well equipped, and above all, professional and no-frills.
The lady gave me a 45 minute deep tissue massage on my upper body with acupressure at my "pain spots", right on! At one pint the pressure was so strong that I had to ask to get a little lighter, but otherwise she worked really hard and with good techniques. She also finished off with a stepping massage on my back (hence with the body weight). I then noticed that they actually installed two roll bars below the ceiling where a therapist could hold onto while performing the stepping massage - pretty impressive.
I feel so much better afterwards, relaxed and refreshed. I am running the risk of repercussion though as I started non-stop typing in front of the screens as soon as I got back to office. I have scheduled another appointment next week and am looking forward to it.
One of the best massage experiences!. Extremely clean, quiet and professional. Wendy has excellent technique and really worked out the stubborn knot in my shoulder in 1 session. Definitely worth checking out. Pricing is very reasonable.
Best Massage in Mid-Town. I was having a very stressful day and decided to treat myself for a massage during lunch. Although I had never been to Holistic Health Tui-Na I wanted to try something new. This was the best massage I've had in ages. The techniques used were amazing. I walked out feeling like I was walking on the clouds. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a good, relaxing massage without wanting to spend a lot of money. :-)
Best deep tissue massage in NYC!.
So, my back was hurting me like crazy because I spent a few too many hours in my ultra-new-fab high heels. I saw an ad for this place and decided to give it a try. Turns out that massage was AMAZING.
I am a spa junkie, been to the best spas and some not so good ones. At less than 60 bucks an hour massage, I think this place hands down wins my vote!! The massage is pretty intense- deep tissue just the way I like it. The lady was nice a friendly, and spoke adequate english (although I wouldn't think she could chat about my day with me, but then again why would I want to when I am relaxing!)
My favorite thing is that it is much more private than the usual "chinese massage" places I have been to. They have a single room, for 1 person (that's the one I used), and 2 couples massage rooms (for 2 people)- not like those big 5 to a room places that I have been to which makes me feel much more comfortable.
So yes, I will DEFINITELY be back!
