“For the Tall Grass burger, the flavor was accented by excellent horseradish mustard which was the highlight- the burger meat itself lacked depth and finished in my mouth as a nonchalant memory.”

“Tall Grass Burger is a modern, clean and simple burger shop, complete with friendly staffs that are clearly learning the ropes in the burger world.”

DMANBURGER "Tall Grass Burger". Ironically, owners of the vegetarian chain Quantum Leap have gone over to the dark side?beef that is. Although these Vegan traitors are the nicest people, they could face gruff from the green mafia when they find out they are slinging grass fed beef burgers in their new burger shack. Along with other items Tall Grass Burger, features 6 beef burgers on the menu including such colorful labels as: The Classic, Southwest, Fire rock, and the signature Tall Grass, which is constructed with cheddar cheese, onion rings, avocado, horseradish and mustard sauce. Burgers range from $6.95-$8.50 and reflect a mediocre flavor.

Citysearch Editorial Profile. This East Village joint, located in the old Elvie's Turo Turo space, specializes in locally sourced grass-fed burgers, which are available in six different varieties (bacon cheeseburger, anyone?). Chicken sandwiches and turkey burgers are also on the menu, although we generally subscribe to the motto, "If the place has 'burger' in the name, order the burger." Pair your meal with a side of fries or onion rings and a milkshake, then sit back and await the inevitable food coma.

Citysearch Editorial Profile. The corn-fed-cow-loving Josh Ozerky's of the world may want to avoid this spot, where grass-fed beef afficianados come to graze on big burgers at not-bad prices.
