DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The bus never showed and they will not refund the money for a children's field trip. These poor kids were stranded and couldn't go on the trip. The worst part is, the company will not refund the money.
We used this company for our wedding and conveniently they forgot to show up and pick up 30 of our passengers. I disputed the charge with AMEX and they won two disputes because they were able to provide receipts and a signed contract. At no time did they provide proof of their arrival at the wedding. I had to pay for my guests cabs and have a memory of a horrible ending to a wedding because of this vendor. I am suing.
Customer service was horrible and they didn't return calls or emails for weeks. Do not ruin your party by hiring this company.
Dont use this company! We booked an 18 person party bus complete with the usual amenities for a CT to MA trip. Instead a 24 seat shuttle bus with uncomfortable 2 x 2 seats a radio system with horrible sound and no legroom. When we tried to contact our agent there was no response and the driver claimed to have no contact info even in case of emergency. We made the best of it and made the trip. When my friend who had booked the bus called US Coachways on Monday she was treated very poorly. First she was told it was her own fault and put on hold several times and even disconnected. Cynthia (the booking agent) and Josephine were incredibly rude and acted as though they couldn'tBe botheres to help her. At one point Cynthia admitted to miscommunicating the information but she wasnt going to do anything about it. This company is horrible and we will be letting everyone know!
I recently booked a party bus for a small reunion with a group of friends from college. The bus was very nice and comfortable for everyone. Tommy our driver was extra friendly and made sure that everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend these guys. I will be using them again.
I joined this site simply to review this company. Where to start? Obviously, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I'm not sure how I can be more clear than that. This is not just a company which makes frequent mistakes with vital transportation reservations, but I was amazed at how heartless, unprofessional, and arrogant their representatives were. There's really no need for me to type the details of my disaster experience with this company, but imagining a group of nearly 40 adults with developmental and physical disabilities stranded and being financially swindled by US Coachways is all you need to know. These innocent and vulnerable people were quite literally taken advantage of by the scum of the earth. If I prevent even just one person from using this company, I will feel almost vindicated for what I put up with dealing with US Coachways.
DO NOT USE US COACHWAYS! US Coachways called the morning of my wedding, with less than 6 hours before the reservation, to tell me that the 56-passenger bus we reserved (and already paid over $1000 for) had some mechanical issues and would not be available. No apology and no attempt to find another solution. The agent simply called to deliver the news and then tried to get off the phone as quickly as possible. When I demanded that they help find a solution -- contact other charter companies serving my area, etc. -- she said she would make some calls and get back to me. I NEVER heard back from her or anyone else at US Coachways. I tried to call her ~10 more times in the hours that followed, left repeated messages and never heard back. Nothing to this day. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get reimbursed. Can you imagine a shuttle cancellation the morning of your wedding, no apology, no attempt to address the situation, and no return phone call? EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION STINKS OF DISHONESTY.
US Coachways provide excellent service, and excellent driver and a beautiful bus (3 months old). I rented the bus for a trip from CT to NYC for the San Genarro festival. The driver was early and greeted everyone as they arrived. Once on the bus, he provided us an excellent selection of movies for the ride and pointed out landmarks on the way. He was able to get us within' 2 blocks of Mulberry Street and provided his cell phone in case anyone got lost on the way back.
Michele was my rep at US Coachways and she was attentive and responded to all my emails quickly and resolved all my questions just as fast. I really can't say enough good things about my experience here.
Great experience! I have used US Coachways for a few of a large events and they have been a pleasure to deal with. I was lucky enough to be assigned to a great manager, Kieth Monti, who ensured that every detail was taken care of for the best price possible. We have used them for both regular coach buses and luxury coach buses, and have been happy all around. They have been timely and responsive throughout.

Completely unprofessional, unresponsive, unhelpful and incompetant employees. I ordered 3 vehicles for my wedding and only 2 showed up, leaving 50 of our wedding guests stranded. Of the drivers who actually did show up, neither knew where they were going. Very nice people, but as a tranportation company, it is YOUR responsibility to know where you are taking your passengers. Both drivers on the bus got lost and needed directions to multiple destinations throughout the day. The bus took over an hour to make what should have been a 20 minute trip, because they were driving in circles.
"Customer service" is completely incompetant. They do not respond to emails and phone calls, and seem to be completely unaware of the services they are expected to provide. I will NEVER use this company again, and would strongly discourage others from using them. The prices may be low, but you get what you pay for - assuming they actually show.
Reading all the comments here is confusing. I just had a school field trip with the school that I am teaching in and the customer service was great. Joe was really helpful with all his advises about who I should get in touch with about venues that I needed for a party that I wasn't even going to use US Coachways for!! Anyway, for what its worth, my experience was good for this company and will use again in the near future because they have shown me commitment.
