this place makes me cringe..i wish i never went there. they dont know to treat people. they insult u by saying how dry ur hair is ...only so they can convince to buy their products
i had to repeatedly ask the hair dresser to keep doing her job..she was acting like it was burden to give me more layers..hello then why are u a hairdresser..worst off the manicurist is horrible..she is so rude insulting everyone and their ethnicity . all the people working there need to learn how to treat people and def improve customer service. the only nice person i met was the massage therapist.
best hair expirience!. i came into cabellos hair salon not having very good expectations because of all the reviews i read but i still went because i had already bought one of those packets! i came in first for my hair cut she gave me the consultation she was telling me different hair colors that would look good with my skin color! i agreed with her about a light brown color, she went to get the color and also came back with wine! i needed that after a long day of work! we started talking about everything! it was great! after she was done she asked me wat kind of hair cut i wanted & she gave me exactly wat i wanted! im alwayz so scared when i get hair cuts the stylist will get sicor happy and cut way to much but im so glad she didnt! i have really thick and curly hair i was soo supriced of how my hair came out! the color was so beautiful and the blow dru she made my hair look so straight! my view on cabellos salon deffinetly changed!! now i cant wait to go to the spa part! i already booked it for next week i will let u know how it was =] make sure you go and expirience cabellos for yourself & ill promise you it will change your mind 2!
loved it. wow im very shoked at the comments i am reading! cuz my expirience here was the opposite! i bought my promo packet in TS! i went in for the hair services! & the women was so nice and sweet! she understood i didnt want any extra services and didnt ask me about it again! she actually just told me how i should take care of my hair & wat to buy in the drug store! she was great! i left her a great tip because she deserved it!! but when i went i did not see anyone complain about anything! n the salon itself was really cute!
New Yorks worst Salon. I went here with a friend with the dumb packets and I spent 200 on the worst highlights and a cellophane or something. I have NO problem spending money on a great hair cut and I thought this one might be okay come to find out my hair looks orange and brassy at the same time and I cant get ahold of the person in charge to get a refund terrible run salon... I should have read the reviews Ladies do not go to this salon!

This was, by leaps and bounds, the WORST POSSIBLE salon experience I have ever endured. I was lured in with a promotional offer. When I walked in I was surprised it had not already been shut down by the Health Department for sanitation violations. There was mounds of random discarded junk of all varieties tucked away in each nook and cranny. And the services matched the decor.
The lady doing my pedicure, as kind as she tried to be, could not compensate for her sheer lack of skill. After I convinced her to put the dirty utensils away, I was shocked at the pain she was capable of inflicting with a harmless nail file. I had to beg her to stop.
The pampering didn't stop there. I was shuffled to the the dirty waiting area where wait I did. Two hours later when I expressed my frustration in no uncertain terms, I was thrown into a chair where the so-called consultation, hair cut and style was all performed in a record breaking 10 minutes. I preferred to walk out with a wet head of hair than endure one more minute of this place.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The salon is dirty and poorly maintained. The stylist was HORRIBLE she was rude and basically insulted me for 35 min so that I would up grade and get color treatments.
She cut my hair in 5min, she was brutal and aggressive and kept PAINFULLY brushing over my ear with the comb. Its uneven and she was totally unprofessional and rude.
I WISH I had read these reviews before going. It was truly a horrible disgusting experience.

SUCKS!. Never have done this whole bad review but when the business is run so badly that the owner doesn't even want to take the heat for bad customer service then EVERYONE should know not to go there. Cut about 3 to many in off my hair and paid the extra to get it "straightened" didnt work. Listen to the reviews before you go salon is the worst nyc has to offer!
first time was great!. i walked into cabellos hair salon after i saw a sign outside with a good deal on a hair cut and i was in need of 1 badly! as soon as i walked in they signed me in and a stylist was ready for me, she was very nice gave me exactly Wat i wanted, didn't try 2 sell me anything else, she was wonderful. i went in a few months later to get a touch up on my hair color with her 30% discount card she gave me the first time i went in, my color came out very nice and natural. I saw many women with this packet and i was interested to know what it was for, my stylist explained it to me and before i left she gave me one that i could give to a friend, too bad i wasn't a first time client or else i would of been able to use it! but i gave it to my friend and she also loved her hair, i would definitely recommend this hair salon to anyone.
Worst salon!. Worst salon ever! Everything about it was bad and I felt like a second rate customer the whole time.... Nothing good to say!
It is not what it seems or what people says..
As Cabellos Hair Salon Manager, we try to make sure every single one of our clients are happy, we see about 100 clients a week and 99.99% of those clients are happy, therefore some of the complaints here are an irrelevant percentage of hard to please clientele.
Every time there is a situation with one of our clients, we at Cabellos do our best to make sure that situation is being taking care of, in order to satisfy our distinguished clientele.
Please in knowledge that the promotional companies selling the packages are totally separate from Cabellos hair salon, WE DO HONOR all the services that are printed on the package; Under certain conditions that are clearly written on it.
Please be advice that although Cabellos Honors the promotional package sold by the promoters, we do not have any control over there selling strategies.
And all the profits from the sale of the package goes to them not Cabellos and our main goal is to preserved the client, making sure once she comes here she will be back to us and or refer other clients as well.
