Absolutely AWFUL. I was quoted $95 an hour. I was charged over $300 more but not until they brought my things to my place. Originally, they tried to charge me over $600 more once they hauled my things, but I had a fit, of course. I only moved within 3 miles. They are the biggest scammers. When I requested an itemized list of expenses, they could not produce one. After a week of trying to retrieve one, I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. I hope I receive a refund, but I am not holding my breath. I just wish I would've searched for reviews before booking them. I hope the company FAILS!

ZERO STARS!!! Should be ARRESTED and put out of business!!!. Moved March of 2011

Horrible experience!! just like the reviews i read here, i was quoted a certain price but then when my items where loaded; they called with another price. was quoted $750 and ended up paying $1,200. not to mention that they gave me this speech about how much the tips mean to them and how they don't make much money. i felt so bad and paid them $50 each. I regret it, I should have followed my gut feeling and told them to leave when they arrived. I had a bad feeling but decided not to be so judgmental.

Worst part, while i was packing some things in another room, they went into my closet and stole ALL of my jewelry. EVERYTHING of value. i had it inside a closet they should have never opened.

I noticed days later and called to complain, called the police, filed a claim at the Bronx City Court. luckily, the bank of America was able to get back the $100 deposit for me.

I have a Judgement against them for 5,000 but im sure i will never get paid. Finalized on Dec 13, 2011.

now they are not around the phones are disconnected. I'm so disappointed! they took special items given to me by my mother and my Dad who passed away.

thank you, Judy, Omar Rodriguez, Wayne Lucas, Gerardo Garcia, David Ramos.

I am over it now, they were just material items but I know that you are getting was you deserve one way or another. Life has a way of doing that.

I SHOULD HAVE POSTED THIS SOONER AND MAYBE SOME OTHER PEOPLE WOULDN'T HAVE FALLEN FOR THIS TRAP. I AM SO SORRY!

These people should be put out of business. I wish I could give them zero stars. I guess that is not allowed.

I was in a bind and I really needed to get out of the city for cheap. I got a great quote for under 1000 bucks to move out of state and I thought I had hit the moving jackpot. When they came the price ballooned to almost 2000 dollars. So much for the nice guy that Mike claimed to be. Then when I asked to speak to him I got this douche named Andy. The workers absolutely hate him (well at least that was what they told me).

So we fast forward to my move, and the minor details in between include me trying to find their address and winding up at an apartment building, and when I do find the other address it is a nasty, smelly room with a dog in it. They live like animals there. I tried calling several times but none of the numbers worked.

The driver (Alim ) was a lazy bum and specifically told me that if I did not pay him 75 for my door being more than 75 feet away from the truck, my stuff would be left outside. He told me he counted my stuff twice so everything is there. I have yet to receive my foot board, my dresser, my television and the brackets for the mirror on my dresser. So Alim, who counted my stuff twice now tells me he is just the driver and does not know where my stuff is. That's what I get for trying to find a deal. If I could go on television and tell everyone to stay away from these con men I would. Please let your friends and family know that they should run the other way if they even come across these people. I now have to spend money to replace things that I paid them to deliver. This is the worst feeling in the world, especially when I have had those items undamaged for over 10 years. Better business bureau needs to know about this.

THE BIGGEST FRAUDS IN THE MOVING INDUSTRY. It is an insult to give this company a star!! what they should get is arrested!! Especially Andy, Judy and Mike, if thats even their real names. Mike came to my house to give me an estimate and was very pleasant and claimed to be a retired New York city police officer. If I was a officer in New York I'd be pissed that htis guy is portraying himself as one of the hardest working cops in the country. They gave me an estimate for $2600 and it turned into a $10,000 fee. they also said they wouldn't deliver my furniture if I didn't pay them. All of my precious antiques and family heirlooms were broken. My sterling silver was missin as well as other items. A total value of @$60,000 are missing. When will the government stop these people!!! What is it going to take. We need to stop the loopholes that allow these people to change their names and continue to rob people blind! I have filed a police report in the town which I was moved from and made a complete list of the things broken and missing. I suggest all of you do the same. I will track these people down and their insurance company has already been given the list of things that were broken and missing with pictures. I also had sent a copy to Judy but the package was refused after she told me I must send the info to her first!. Don't use these people. If you get and estimate from a company and they claim to be from Israel, and located in the Bronx, and a Short heavy set man gives you and amazingly low estimate and says or has an accent from Israel its them. DON"T USE THEM!!!! YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I COULD'NT BE MORE PLEASED.(THANK YOU). This was my first time using movers and I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Relocation movers . Mike was extremely helpful and easy to work with in setting up my move. He was diligent in following-up to confirm all details in the planning phase and answered any questions that I had leading up to the move which really helped to put me at ease. The move itself went very smoothly with Tom and his team, not a single item was damaged and everything was perfectly intact. The movers were punctual, courteous and very professional. Overall, Relocation Movers really did an outstanding job and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Worst Day Of My Life. I wish I had never heard of this company. It was the worst day of my life when I let them into my home. I truthfully have nightmares about this move. It was a horrible experience. They broke and scratched and chipped so many things. My furniture was supposed to be wrapped it wasn't. The truck leaked & I had water damage. The thought of this makes me sick. They are horrible, terrible people.

Don't Let My Mistake Be Yours. If I could give a negative rating I would. This was my 1st move and I was duped by the fake positive reviews entered by the company on this site and then hired them. The movers were unskilled and damaged many things including my HDTV & irreplaceable family heirlooms. They damaged the building I moved into & I was fined $250. When the day was done they billed me almost 5X the estimate. They refused to start unloading the (rented) truck until I paid even though the job was only partially done. They threatened to hold my possessions hostage until I paid.

An estimator had gone to my prior home, walked around and looked at things and gave me a professional estimate of $450.00 - they billed me over $2000.00.

After the damage was done, I gave them a chance to make things right - they made appointments (plural) to come evaluate the damage AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP, they never paid me a dime for all the damage done and I'm out an HDTV. So now I'm going to the Attorney General and I'm going to get something done about these unethical, abusive people.

So, as a closing, take a close look at their ratings. They are all very negative or Extremely Complimentary, nothing in the middle. Seem a little fishy to you? It does to me. Who do you think is writing those extremely complimentary reviews?

Scammers. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Here is what you need to know if you use this company:

A MOVING ESTIMATE BASED ON VOLUME IS LEGALLY BINDING. In other words, if they give you a quote after looking at your stuff, they can't legally ask you for more. Why do I tell you this? Because they will try to tell you that the estimate they first gave you was incorrect, and they will ask you for more money. In our case, over 3x what they initially quoted us.

But, really, the estimate is only part of the issue. The real problem is that they will demand more money AFTER your stuff is already in their possession - on the truck, in the unit, or on the road.

When we tried to find out where our stuff was, they gave us the run around for days - saying it was on the truck..oh, wait, it hasn't left the facility...oh, wait, it is on the way...oh wait, it is in Virginia (we found out later it was actually in Alabama - COMPLETELY out of the way)...oh, wait, the truck is broken down and won't be there on time...etc etc. We learned later that these are all standard lines used by moving companies who run scams.

When the truck finally made it to our house, we discovered that our belongings had been moved on and off the truck at least twice without our knowledge, that they were packed horribly (dishes and antiques were now at the BOTTOM of the truck), and that many of our things had been damaged. This included my mother's antique buffet hutch, which had ended up directly on the floor of the truck (no blankets or cushion of any kind), on its side, under five feet of boxes, with scratches and bumps all over, and the leg broken off.

If they scam you, and especially if they are holding your stuff for ransom, there are three places to contact:

1) Your lawyer

2) The attorney general of the state of NY (where they are based)

3) There is a website called movingscam (I have no affiliation with them, but it would have been REALLY helpful if we had know of them at the time!)

Bottom line: save yourself the trouble and find a reliable company through a friend with experience.
