Flatiron Justs Keeps Getting Better. My friend and I were playing in the new Marshall's on 18th Street and then going out for dinner. We love exploring my neighborhood and walked down 19th Street twards 5th Ave. We were captivated by the atmosphere of a new restaurant called Bazar Bistro.

We walked in and were immediately charmed by our waiter who patiently explained the menu and what he would recommend. I could go into boring detail, but in short, the food was spectacular. We were eating off each other's plates and flipping out for how delicious everything was. The owner, Peter Eljastimi stopped by and we told him how enchanting this experience was and he was grinning from ear to ear. Most important of all to me, was the dessert. We ordered "Opera Cake". This was heaven on a plate. I, who specialize in anything that has sugar in it, gave it 2 thumbs up. Zowie Wowie. It was out of this world.

Great New Restaurant in the Flatiron!!. I am so glad that we decided to go to Bazar last night!

I had waled by several times and saw the inside of the newly decorated place and decided we had to give it a try. The service was wonderful from the start. The menu was than explained to me by my waiter, as he recommended the arugala salad and the Skate with Scallops with roasted butternut squash and apples. Both were amazing!! The arugala salad came with pears, kumquats, walnuts, percorino and a honey citrus dressing- I have been craving it every day since. They also have a great wine list and have several great wines by the glass that were very affordable.

Every part of my meal was truly amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great night out with amazing food!

Total dining pleasure and phenomenal food. Eating at Bazar Bistro with my husband and in-laws, for dinner, was a complete pleasure from start to finish. The atmospher is lovely and comfortable with comfy round booths, soft lighting, very attentive and informed service staff. I had the 'chef's signature' octopus appetizer and wow - best I've ever had - better than Babo and anywhere else I've ever had octopus. My husband had the mussels appetizer and we all agreed they were the best mussels we've ever had (after spending time in France, and throughout Europe, other French bistros, etc.)..the menu was on the smaller side but the choices and ingredients were very well done. Two of us had the Sea Bass - with lobster mashed potatoes and Asparagus, the others had short rib risotta and lamb and we were all oohing and aahing the entire time at how delicious everything was. We learned they've only been open 4 weeks, but if they keep the bar this high on service and delicious food they will be very successful. We are happy to have found a great place to bring our out of town guests or go with local friends when we are in the mood for 'something different'...well done Bazar Bistro!

best bistro in nyc. it was a very nice experiance

I ate at Bazar Bistro last night for dinner and had a wonderful meal. It was so good I had to write this review to inform people that they need to try it . very good consistent food and service.

they manage to do it correctly. Last night I had a lamb mitone its was so good with artichoke that i didnt wan it to be finish and my boy freind had chicken pane (breaded chicken) hmmm the sauce was amazing . great service nothing to say they keep checking on my water glass keep pouring wine ( the good thing i like in this place is the team work we had a bold waiter who took the order but the manager was pouring water another waiter was pouring wine and keep checking on our table what a team ) , I highly recommend it

we end our dinner with dessert ( free complimentary from the house )

you doing great job keep going guys

i will be back for sure and i know what im having next time beet salad and branzino
