Alex Rocks!

Alex is by far the BEST STYLIST I've ever had work with my hair. Not only is she amazing professionally, she is also very warm and friendly, so I actually look forward to going in for my cut and color.

Alex is THE BEST because she is skillful enough to cut your hair in a way that gives it body and shape while using very minimal hair products or none at all. For me this is awesome because I don't have to do anything to my hair. It styles itself. I always leave the salon loving my hair and it looks that way everyday until its time for another cut. All I do is wash and blow it dry and it looks as good as when I left the salon. Who can argue that that's not the best right?

Since I have been working with Alex, I've never had so many compliments on my hair CUT & COLOR. I get rave reviews almost daily from people who know me and from complete strangers on the street.

Finally, she has completely affordable rates. This is imperative for the working girl with student loans, commuting costs, and high rent rates in this area of the country. Her philosphy is to provide services at rates which are manageable for people to maintain so they continue to come back. It's definitely working for her because she has a loyal customer following.

Alex also styles models for shoots in NYC and is highly in demand at the salon, but is very flexible and willing to work with your schedule. She also always makes sure you love your hair.

I've been visiting Alex for 2 years now and even though I moved out of town, it is still worth the drive to see her.

I was recommended to Alex by my daughter and thank goodness for that. Over the past several years I have been going to different hair salon's all over Westchester. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars at each salon I was never completely happy. But, to make matters worse I was becoming blonder and blonder and hated each haircut. Finally, the straw that broke the camels back was when I saw pictures of myself and could not believe it was me. When I sat down with Alex and Maria they confirmed everything I felt. They also expressed what I should go for and it was exactly what I had been asking for all these years. I am so happy with my hair cut and color that I can't wait to go back for my next appointment with Alex. Thank you making me look like myself again. Kathryn

melinda is an absolutely amazing hair stylist & colorist

I have been a client of Melinda's for the past 7 yrs and she is THE best ! she is very knowledgeable about her craft & quite versatile, as well. Melinda works well w/ a variety of hair types in hair care, styling, cutting and her coloring & highlighting skills are awsome ! she is a true artist in every sense of the word, my hair is fine & wavy & tends to frizz up in the summer, Melinda gave me a keratin treatment that is wonderful & now my hair is smooth & the texture is amazing ! my hair is much easier for me to maintain,at any length, i've gone from mid neck to a shorter style w/ the help of melinda's skills & suggestions. she conducts her consultations in a relaxed atmosphere & is clear & consise in explaining the whys & the hows of what she suggests for each & every client , her recommendation for hair products have always been on point for each clients particular hair type & care, & all of this is conducted in relaxed & trendy setting. oh & did I fail to mention that melinda has a wonderful personality & a contagious laugh that makes you want to stay for awhile & hang out even after your hair is finished ?!? her asst, aimee is fabulous & has personality plus, along w/ the best hands that will shampoo & condition your hair & head into oblivion !! so do yourself a favor & check her out !! you'll be so happy that you did & i guarantee you will return again & again !
