Tips for Mono+Mono

Most definitely recommend! Whenever i'm in town and have friends in town we always head here for the best wings ever!!! Will not be disappointed! They also make awesome drinks (try the Billy Holiday) Plus the staff is super friendly and the prices are so reasonable for such good food and great atmosphere!

To someone who loves Jazz and vintage like me, this place is just AMAZING! We can feel the groove anytime because they play Jazz everyday. Live performance takes place almost every night, and it's always filled with crowds. The best part is of course their seasoned Fried Chicken!! It's so crispy outside but tender and juicy inside. It goes well with both their beer selection (allagash is my favorite one) and special soju samplers (beautifully decorated Infused soju drinks which are very fresh and soft). Edamame and Mango salad are great as an appetizer, and Yuzu Seabass and Galbi Skewer are delicious!

Interior, ambiance, food, and staffs are all fantastic, highly recommended! :)

Best Spot in East Village. MONO+MONO is famous for Korean fried chicken but it seems that it's just more than Korean fried chicken. The decor and vibe.. I loooooove them. I hope that my bf got some sense to take me here for Valentine's day. Let's see how it goes.;

Incredible combination of Jazz and Korean style fried chicke. Mono +Mono is a hidden gem in a quiet part of East Village. The bar/restaurant is NOT a typical Korean style chicken restaurant. It’s jazz themed and has old vintage feels. Inside the restaurant, there’s a wall displaying over 30,000 jazz vinyl records and a DJ playing the live jazz music almost every night.

I went to Mono+Mono after work with my colleagues. The wait server told me they just updated their menu and recommended to try their new items. We followed his suggestion and ordered mango salad, chop steak, and their signature fried chicken with soju cocktail and draft beer.

I think the double fried chicken was definitely the best. My colleagues and I tried both soy garlic and spicy versions The skin was very thin and crackly. It was not greasy at all. Inside the crust, the chicken meat was very moist and juicy.. What I really liked about the dish was that the seasoning didn’t get on my fingers.

I strongly recommend their fruit infused soju cocktails. We tried grapefruit soju cocktail. Unlike straight soju that has a burning aftertaste, the soju cocktail was very smooth and fresh.

This place is more like a trendy jazz bar in terms of the atmosphere and crowds. I really like coming to this place whenever I feel like hanging out with my friends with good foods and drinks. It’s also nice to see their impressed by my recommendation.

impressive. saw that this place was new and always passed by it wanting to check it out. stumbled in last weekend when it was packed. we got some drinks. the space is very great, quite a beautiful design with a sweet antique piano in the center they use as a table.

they play analog jazz here and display millions of vinyls, even ones rotating on the ceiling (you have to see it to know what i'm talking about). their drinks are reasonably priced, the mojitos come in lots of yummy flavors and they have an impressive beer menu.

although they don't serve any liquor besides a type of korean sake, which i guess is similar to vodka and isn't bad. the staff is cute and very friendly. definitely coming back to see how the food is.
