A waste of money. To start off a spa is supposed to be clean. This is place is dirty and disorganized. I was greeted at the front desk by a young sloppy and unprofessional receptionist. She was on her phone texting while I was trying to ask her questions. And then, the owner of the place... unprofessional as well. I see where some of her staff gets the manners from. I wasnt satisfied with the hand paraffin treatment and she brushed off my complaint and said there was nothing else she could do about it. Literally just shrugged me off. Lady, your place is nasty and you need to some management skills and professionalism in your life. The facial was ok. Not really, but what else am i supposed to expect. The only good thing about this place was Brad and the excellent foot reflexology therapy he gave me.

Horrible place, beware!. I came in with my boyfriend on November 26 at 10:45 am and were seen by the onlyperson there (Indian girl). we both got wraps and we knew that this place wasshady after they guaranteed 4 inches off our waist and 6-20 inches off our wholebody; when she measured us after we finished it was different from how shemeasured us in the beginning and it was completely wrong period but she messedwith the numbers and told us we both lost 9 inches each. we paid the 150 forthe wraps and the owner (Divia, i believe) told us shed charge us for thedifference of a package since we had to keep getting wraps to see a result, thepackage was 225, she was suppose to charge us the 75 but she charged us thefull 225, we argued about it but she said that shed through in free wraps forthe mistake. My boyfriend and i left and when we went home we measured ourselvesand realized that we hadnt lost an inch, so i called back immediately to cancelthe package (2 hours after we left). the girl that wrapped us told us that theowner already left and to call the next day, i did but she was not in. I calledthe day after that and the owner told me she doesnt issue refunds, which i toldher wasnt stated in her policy (listed on her website which i checked,copy/pasted and saved on my computer before i called her) that said RETURNPOLICY- Refunds or exchange should be done within 7 days from the day of thepurchase. After 7 days only exchanges will be allowed. All items returned orexchanged should be unopened and not damaged. All refunds will be given in thesame method of original payment. Gift vertificates are non refundable. shetold me she could only give me a gift certificate. When i told her that wasunacceptable, she told me shed call me back, i waited two days and she neverdid. Finally i went back to the spa on 12/3 around 3 pm and i saw her actuallyput a paper in a plastic stand thing with the policies written on it, before shesaw me and had the nerve to say the policies are always on display in her spabut are left on the shelf behind the register (which i just caught her in thelie). She then proceeded to show her her own policy on her website (i actuallyhad to help her navigate her website and show her the misspelling ofcertificates) and had me read it out loud and then when clearly it didnt saywhat she wanted it to say she said thats only for items, so clearly that showsi dont do refunds for services i told her it has to be clearly stated and itwasnt so i deserve a refund, she told me fine, but she needed the card. sinceit was my boyfriends card that was used i did not have it with me but told herId come back and since Im taking a cab she must tell me when shed be thereand if i needed anything else, she told me just the card was fine. I called on12/4 and she was not there so i came in on 12/5 with the card. she saw me comethrough the door, walked to the back and came back to the front and told me shewas living for the day and she could not do the refund today(the spa closes at 8that day and there was no one other employees in the spa) i told her it shouldtake a couple of minutes and she said she needed the receipt, i told her i donthave it and that i had already asked her if she needed it before and she saidno. she took down my boyfriends information and the card information and iasked her for a date to come back, she said she doesnt know she has a lot oflooking to do and she doesnt know how to do it because she never gives refunds.I told her the card machine has a journal she can look through and she shouldhave a copy of the receipt and that i had the exact date and time if she neededit. Thats when she told me she didnt care for me and that she was going to dothe refund out of the goodness of her heart but since i was being a little shit(or bitch, i was only clear on the little part and the itch sound) about it thatshe is not giving the refund and i could kiss her ass

I had the most AMAZING deep tissue massage at tones!! My masseuse Johanna had incredible hands n I came out feeling like a new person!!

Best Massage Ever!. This is a diamond in the rough! Although this location does not include all the bells and whistles of some of the manhattan day spas, I got more than my money's worth! The owner was very pleasant, and my massage therapist Doreda gets 15 stars from me! I went there with a horrible back ache and walked out feeling fantastic. You will not be disappointed!

It was Pleasant. I went to Tone's Spa for spaweek. I wanted to patronize a Bronx establishment and I was not disappointed. Though it slightly lacked the full serene spa experience, the service wasn't lacking. The owner was very pleasant and personable. I had a facial and the esthetician did her do diligence to get my skin clear and I am still glowing weeks later. I will definitely return.
