Great New Chef. Heard good things about the strand while in NY. What a great meal and a great night.

Loved it!. Delicious food, convenient midtown location. I had a crab cake & grilled salmon. My wife had a caesar salad and the seared tuna. Everything was fresh and tasty. Great service as well. Highly recommended!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Lydia Marks, the set designer behind fashionable flicks including “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Sex and the City,” was responsible for creating this chic, if tiny, rooftop bar perched on the 21st floor of the 1930s-inspired Strand Hotel. Located on an unassuming block near Koreatown, the Top of the Strand features stellar views of the Empire state building, a retractable roof and unique, green-filled wooden planters that double as seating dividers. Despite the designer digs, a snooty attitude pervades--making breezy summer imbibing in this oft-crowded space seem unfortunately stuffy.
