Great one on one training for anything Apple/Mac related.. I checked out How Lounge for some personalized training a couple of weeks ago. Their store is located in SoHo, and it evokes the same cool, clean and minimalist Apple environment (minus the hoards of shoppers).

I actually have the One to One membership, but my Apple trainer couldn't answer my questions about Photoshop CS5. I got referred to How Lounge because they offer training for 3rd party applications (and Apple doesn't).

My trainer for this session was Amanda, and she also happens to be a photographer. Needless to say, we bonded over that! She answered my questions about Photoshop and also gave me some organizing tips in iPhoto.

I'll be booking another session soon since I have more to ask about Adobe CS5 (Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) and they do a great job of filling in the gaps. The price is super reasonable ($75 an hour) and I love the fact that there's no commitment. I also got free bottled water and chocolate during my training - bonus! I'm also thinking of sending my mom there since I'm going to give her my old Mac and I don't have enough patience to teach her the basics.
