Moved across the street, still great. The food hasn't changed much since it moved across the street, though it definitely feels a bit more upscale with a cleaner atmosphere (though I liked the charm of the old place). I'd give it five stars, but it used to be BYO, which was great, so minus a point for making me pay for drinks (though I supposed I understand). We get take here often.

Highly recommend the duck wraps. The spring rolls are tasty as well.

Place has moved to 48 Carmine Street. This is a family owned restaurant, they took over what was known as Morakote restaurant back in 2007 and changed its name to Potjanee Thai restaurant in 2010. They have recently moved across the street to 48 Carmine. Food is authentic Thai home style tasting. My favorite is the Drunken noodles. They now serve alcohol at the new location as well. Give it a try if you nearby, you won't regret it.

Great service for a place geared for take out and food was better than most.. We saw this small nook of a restaurant out of the corner of our eye as we were walking by hungry last night. The tables are tight but there is a good vibe in the place and the server was very attentive for a place that is more geared for take out. I consider myself a bit of a thai connoisseur and the classic dishes they served were on par with the competition. The stand out for me was the chicken coconut soup (Tom Kha) that I try at every thai restaurant I go to. This one was very fresh, the chicken was tender, the mushrooms weren't over cooked and the broth had perfect coconut milk flavor. I recommend for eating there for a quick meal or for that dinner on your own couch.

Nice and easy lunch specials. Nice lunch specials, but the amount of items they had seriously decreased! What happened? Still good quality food at a nice price.

Disappointing. The Kai Kai Specialty that I ordered (Shrimp Penang Curry) was shockingly spicy, such that I couldn't taste anything. But the bigger problem was that there was hardly anything to taste - 3 shrimps does not an entree make.
