First Choice to Get My Hair Cut – For some 4 years or so I have been going to Jean Claude Biguine to get my hair cut. They always do a great job there. At work sometimes folks ask me where I get it cut and many know I come to the city from Conn. just to get it cut at JCB. Since last year Noemie has been cutting my hair and does a fabulous job every time. She is very skilled at cutting hair and is meticulous in her work. She and salon always have a great sense of style and atmosphere as well as many of the other JCB stores around the city. I recommend their business to anyone who likes to look their best and get a great stylish cut done correctly and professionally each time.
Best Place in the City! – i have gotten my hair cut there for two years now, and I have never been disappointed!! Luzime cut my hair last time I went there, and I LOOOVEE it. I have so many angles and layers my hair now has all these natural waves. She even taught me how to blow dry it myself!! (which was a great tip because it's harder than it looks). Simone cut my hair a bunch of times when it was short and it always looked great, and needed no maintenance. Fatima does my color every time. i've had red, dark brown, and chocolate with highlights. I cant decide what to do next, it all looks so good!!!
Great place!! – Every time I went, I had a different hairdresser. They are ALL great, professional & know how to cut hair & blow-dry. This time though was the best; I had Simone cut & dry my hair. She was very sweet yet professional who did above & beyond to make sure I am happy. Also, her blow drying technique was superb!
I will definitely be back again. Thanks!
Best color and cut I've ever had! – This salon was next to the hotel I was staying at during my visit last week with my daughter. I had not colored my greys before leaving for my trip from Georgia and I felt old, tired and ugly. I stopped into this salon and immediately I was met at the door by the stylist Simone (I believe was her name). She grew up and trained in Paris, France. She introduced me to Rada the colorist. I let Rada select the color for my hair (which was already colored auburn). She mixed up another auburn which looked absolutely amazing on my hair when she finished. Rada suggested a shorter style (a bob) than my long hair (only grown long at my hubby's request). Simone agreed the style would look good and she performed magic on my hair. Both of these ladies are true professionals. They both take very deep pride in their work and watching them perform was more like watching an artist with a palette than my usual hair stylist just cutting my hair. Each snip and color was precise with each strand; I've never seen a hair cut like that before. It was truly an art form. When they were finished, my daughter's mouth fell open and she said, "Mommy! You look so different! You look beautiful! I can't believe this is my mommy!" That was enough of a compliment for me. But after arriving back to work I've had so many more compliments as well. One person said he never notices anyone's hair but noticed mine right away and he told me I "definitely got my money's worth because it was a great color and cut and made me look younger!" Thank you Simone and Rada for making me feel "pretty".
Best service ever – I had such a great experience at this salon. My color and hair look fabulous, I been complimented by so many coworkers and many men ( Great).
Staff was so friendly and the place feels nice and warm, colorist and stylist are true professionals, took their time to explain what they will be doing and how it will look.
The final result is amazing. I highly recommend this place on 45 and Vanderbuilt.
Great Haircut! Professional place – I can only recommend the hairstylist I had of course (her name was Nelly) and she was really great. I never had a hairstylist pay so much attention to my hair and really take her time to make sure it was straight, inline, it fell right...and that is really important to me bec. I have straight hair so mistakes are easy to detect. Just when I thought she was done, she went back, looked everything over, made tiny adjustments if she had too.
But the entire place had a very professional feel so I wouldn't me surprised if all the stylists cared that much about their work! I know that there is at times hesitation to go into one of these chain salons but I would go back there again without hesitation and wouldn't worry much even if Nelly was not there.
$72 bucks for wash, cut and blowdry but a haircut that beats any other $100+ cut I've had.
