Excellent!. I've eaten at this restaurant a few times and always loved it! Im from California so I was hesitant at first but fell in love with the spin on healthy yet still tasty Mexican food. I was surprised in the best way! I brought my roommate who was also resistant being a vegetarian and health conscience... she LOVED it! It always tastes amazing, light and hearty at the same time. The atmosphere is comfortable and it's just great food. PS I've also been during happy hour and amazing sangria and margarita's! fun and nice bartender too!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. El Camion is a wonderful Mexican restaurant on the Lower East Side!!! It has a very chill, relaxing atmosphere. The food was really wonderful and the drinks were amazing! Friends and I thoroughly enjoyed chorizo pombazo, fajitas and fish tacos. The Patron margaritas were truly outstanding! Staff was very friendly and professional.

This is a very special restaurant! I can't wait to go back!!!

yummy mexican. El Camion is a new bright spot in the east village. The waiters were attentive but not pushy, the atmosphere was hip and relaxed, and best of all, the food was terrific (and very well priced!). While there was the typical Mexican fare, what I loved was the menu items that had a newer twist to them, like the Tacos al Pastor - orange and chipotle marinated pork with pineapple salsa - yum! I also have a new favorite margarita - the Gingerita. Combining Patron with ginger - love it! Definitely a restaurant worth going to.

Great New Mexican in the East Village!!. El Camion has the best deals and food in the EV. My boyfriend and I were looking for Mexican food last week and found the restaurant on Citysearch. We were lured in by there $5 Patron margaritas. This is the best deal in NYC! They give you homemade chips and salsa and have any amazing guac for $6. We had the fish and shrimp tacos which were both really good. Definitely go check them out... you wont be disappointed!

Great Lunch special. I stopped in here last week, after searching for a place to have lunch in the east village. The lunch special was one of the best that i can find. For $10, i have the chorizo pombazo, this was one of the best sandwiches i have had to date. It was so flavorful and delicious, the fries were seasoned to perfection as well. I will definitely be back here for dinner
