Agree with 'Awful' review below. I have been to Aged twice, first when it just opened and it was terrible and again recently for brunch, also terrible. I won't be going back.

AWFUL!. Both my husband and I support local business, and decided lets try this ""Steak House"" .

The waitress/hostess, was a halfed brain nit wit, that each time she passed our table she kicked my chair.

The waiter suggested the 28day old steak, what they are famous for? REALLY ??? as well as the baked clams for an appetizer. we ordered the porter house for 2, creamed spinach which the waiter stated " when they make it fresh I eat a bowl of it in the morning" that was a tip we were ignoring. and a baked potato.

the clams came out in some sort of cream mayo sauce ?? the clams were cold and opaque in color, commonly when you order baked clams the crumb topping is browned, and hot. No so much is case. Oddly, clams never taste fishy, these tasted very fishy.

Dinner- Porter house for 2 arrived cold. the waiter did not plate the steak for us. The baked potato, dry, crumbly, and cold. creamed spinach, blazing hot, right from the microwave. my husband is quiet and passive, after this night all he repeated was "" NEVER AGAIN""

for the hot creamed spinach, rachael ray used to say use a little nutmeg it will keep your guests questioning what is that. key wording here... USE A LITTLE!!! they never kept us guessing, it was over the top, and it wasnt fresh nutmeg which really enhanced the yuck!

save your money and go to the city.

The Best Steakhouse in Forest Hills, Queens & NYC!. Aged. Brings steak and seafood to a new level. Their quality produce, meats & fish coupled with an extremely high level of customer service makes dining in this queens steakhouse more than a pleasure. I think this steakhouse in Queens is great for groups especially those thinking about heading to Austin St. after, this spot in Forest Hills is not to be missed!

Criminal bartender. This place is overrated and over priced. My husband I ate there once and the meal was a colossal disappointment. You would do better having the "steak" at TGIF. I am serious. We have managed to avoid Aged for a long time, however, my girlfriends and I were looking for a half decent happy hour, i.e. cheap cocktails, and ended up there. The bartender on the 2 or 3 occasions that we went happy was competent and pleasant. Feel free to skip all the bar food.

My husband I went there yesterday for a few drinks during happy hour. The bartender on duty produced a $77 bill for 5 drinks, declaring that our drinks were exempt from Happy Hour. So the Strawberry/Champagne concoction, Purple Rain and Seven Wishes were charged at over $10 each. Don't judge me by drink selection. I was feeling adventurous and it was the end of a long day. Just saying.

I was buzzed and tired and therefore did not protest even though I was puzzled to say the least. My husband felt that he didn't know enough about the happy hour rules to challenge the bartender.

But, today my girlfriends had drinks at the bar and confirmed that happy hour applies to the cocktails.

We were overcharged by at least $25 by a zealous i.e. crooked bartender. After yesterdays crime, I decided never to return and will steer future happy hours where patrons are not taken advantage of.

wonderful place. Eating here was a delight. Didn't know there were places like this in Forest hills. They got some great white wines on the list, meat was very tender and fresh, the sides were nice and a bit spicy. My boyfriend had the NY strip, said it was some of the best steak he's tried. I think they use the really good parts of the cow of in this place, they don't mess around like some of the other places. Manhattan dining in Queens, for sure

This exists in Queens? wow. I went to the Aged in Manhattan and only then found out that there is one in my borough. It was amazing here, trendy, excellent service, and the set up and food was very similar to the Manhattan location. Left very satisfied, the NY skirt steak was amazing and the drinks were strong and original. They have kind of a wide variety so it might be worth trying more than just the wine.

Best steak I've tried in Queens; by far. Simply put: I tried some of the best steak I've ever had in my life. I got the skirt steak, it was perfectly cut, juicy, and it was a nice big piece considering the price. Biting into was heaven and went really well with the merlot they had. The wine here is very tasty, they have a large variety and the prices are very reasonable. The waitress was very professional and treated our party with a lot of respect and gave us some great suggestions on the menu, including some of the special they had that day. They have some great desserts too, we got some sort of ice cream cake and we loved it. It definitely feels like your in Manhattan and not in Queens when you eat here, and the prices tend to reflect that, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent place for a date!. We came here on a Friday night and had a truly amazing night. It was a date, and I couldn’t think of a better place for a nice dinner in all of Queens. Aged is trendy, the crowd is really good-looking, and the service staff is very professional, well-dressed, and attractive. The ceilings are high, the lighting is dim, and its well-spaced out and comfortable. The steak was excellent—the filet mignon was tender, juicy, and melted in my mouth. They had some incredible scallops, the asparagus was fresh and delicious, and the oysters we got were superb beyond words. I was really impressed with the quick and friendly service—even on a very busy night. The prices are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for, and this was more than worth it and really impressed my date, who lives in Manhattan and didn’t believe there were “good restaurants” in Queens. Bottom line, even if you don’t live in Queens, Aged is worth going out of your way for.
