My Experience was a nightmare we rented the venue for two session for a fundraiser from the time we got there the tenants was complainting about the owner is rent to you guys illegal. The place was dirty and smelling. The tenants call NYPD complainting about nosie. We was told the place was sound proof. The owner is a fraud and don't trust him ask for paperwork. We took them to small claims and won. Don't trust the owner he is a liar and will tell you anything to get your money. We are still waiting for this man to paid us our money that the court order him to pay us back its be three months.

Totally Diaagree with Esmok. I recently made an event at this Loft, and i didnt have a single problem and my deposit was returned in full.

The space was beautiful, and everyone had an amazing evening, thank you loft on fifth...

There's two sides to every story...you can feel free to have your event there and enjoy it...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, DISHONEST OWNERS. My husband and I recently rented this space for what we thought would be a classy and fun event. We arrived to find the space absolutely filthy. This is because the owner pockets every renter's security/cleaning deposit and never hires anyone to clean. The loft is being illegally sublet for nightly events, much to the chagrin of the other tenants in the building. One such tenant actually stormed into my party and screamed at me and my guests for the noise being too loud. More than get angry, I really felt bad for the guy. He obviously deals with this situation a lot and had reached his breaking point. Needless to say, it was an abrupt and very embarrassing end to my party (one hour before it was supposed to be over according to the contract.) The sound system also broke down three separate times during the party because the system "over-heated." Even after all of this, my husband and I were still sure to leave the space spotless (much cleaner than we found it!) in hopes of at least getting our security deposit back. We were wrong. Even after promising my husband the deposit on the phone, Jacob never refunded the money to my account and ignored my husband's repeated calls and emails. This man is completely dishonest. I just hope my review will forewarn others before they make the mistake of doing business with him.

Wonderful Experience beginning to end. My fiance and I rented out the loft for an informal engagement party this past weekend. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous....20 foot ceilings, exposed brick, hardwood floors, really nice bathrooms, full kitchen etc...Also a great sound system built right in. My only complaint is that the night was over too fast!!

Truly a beautiful unique spot for any kind of occasion...and the rates were REALLY reasonable.

Beautiful space!. I've run a successful loft business and put on events from Barbara Walters to America's Next Top Model. I only rent out the very best Lofts for my clients, and this one is no exception. It's pleasing to the eye, has exposed brick, a modern working kitchen, an upstairs perfect for a DJ, and a fully wired entertainment system. The Rabbi and staff that run this place are friendly and easy to deal with. Catch them at the right time and you may get a ridiculously good deal. I highly recommend this spot.
