At Boulud Sud, his take on Mediterranean food is more innovative than the Trojan horse. The simply prepared fish and dips typically associated with the genre have been replaced with the likes of cauliflower tabbouleh folded with za'atar and chopped figs and crisped artichokes complimented by sardine espache.

Daniel's done it again with Boulud Sud, a fancy, lovely, very mature take on Mediterranean cuisine. Don't come here for the hummus, come for the fish you've probably never heard of or the octopus a la Planxa. Prepare to be swept away.
