In a word, Leslie is FANTASTIC!! I've been going to her for a few months now and honestly my hair has never looked better! I have curly hair that never looks the same from one day to the next. I don't know what she did, but once Leslie got a hold of my hair it completely changed! Every day is a good hair day, my hair actually has a consistent look and I understand how to style it and put products in my hair. I have gotten numerous compliments on my hair and they keep coming even 2 months after a cut! I have been to very pricey stylists and salons but none have made me look as good as Leslie. Her expertise for cut as well as color has won me over and I am now a loyal customer. Everytime I see her we discuss how I'm feeling about the cut and color, what options I have and her recommendations. She's not afraid to tell me what she thinks about my color, and her expert option is always appreciated and quite frankly RIGHT! I highly recommend Leslie, she'll convert you after 1 visit!

What a talented stylist!. I was lucky that Leslie was able to squeeze me in on short notice, and I'm glad she did! I knew I needed to revamp my hair, though didn't have a preconceived idea of what it needed to look like. This gave her the leeway to really develop a style that complemented my hair and face, while also laying the ground work for a grow-out that would continue to work. She's VERY smart about how curly hair works, whether its springy or droopy. And she's a master colorist too. Highly recommended.

Excellent Stylist!. I made an appointment with Leslie because I heard she was an expert on curly hair, which is hard to find.

Leslie gave me a great cut, talked about proper products and care for my hair and then took a lot of time to show me exactly how curly hair needs to be styled in order to hold the curl and not look all "frizzy or fly-away". Nobody has ever dedicated that much time to teaching me that.

I left with the best looking, most alive, springy curls ever!

I highly recommend Leslie not just for curly hair but regular hair and for coloring as well.

Absolutely would recommend for all curly-haired women!. I went to Leslie Ellen back in July 2011, was thrilled with the result the day of the cut, am still happy with my hair today, and yet, can't wait to go see her again in October. Not only did Leslie do an amazing job on my pesky, type 3A hair (which she somehow managed to get fabulously straight), but she was such a sweetheart...so easy to talk to and easy to trust. I would absolutely recommend her to any woman who has struggled with her curly hair and is seeking a new curly hair specialist in NYC.

A wonderful hairstylist!. I have had such a wonderful experience with Leslie and am definitely happy I found her and made the switch from my old salon. I didn't know my hair could look so good and be so effortless. I've been with her for about a year now, and always come out with a stylish, functional cut and beautiful highlights. She listens to my own visions for my hair, but also guides me with her expertise. She is a wonderful stylist and I can't recommend her more highly!
