Went here on a Wednesday night and it
was off and on crowded. To be quick and simple, good wine, good cheese, possibly the best flatbread pizzetta type thing I've ever
had. The chocolates are also great
This is a great spot for a casual date or evening out with the girls. The food is amazing, simple, and delicious... and they have just about anything you would want to drink, so it's pretty great.
The service was friendly, but at times unattentive. Other tables were receiving quicker service than we were for no apparent reason.Anyway, with drinks our dinner bill was $85. I'd go again, but I am not eager to do so.
My good friend brought me to this
location and I now plan to be a
regular. Amazing concept for wine tasting (try their flights) and the
best small plates ever. No question, service was stellar. Met the
owner and chatted a bit about the business. Very personable. I am a
repeat offender! My mouth is watering thinking about the scallops and
kale..mmmmm!
The food was a good (I had goat cheese and beet salad and asparagus soup) - even though the menu could use some refining. I especially enjoyed the presentation of the food.
Ayza is great because it's a wine bar without having the stuck up feeling that wine bars sometimes have. It's definitely somewhat upscale, but it's still comfortable, and ladies love the whole wine and chocolate thing.
not satisfied. I took my girlfriend here on a date. The hostess was kind of rude to her as she took her coat to be checked, almost like she was judging my girl’s outfit. Then we sat at a table near the back, in a secluded area, which seems like it would be romantic, but it also made it easy for the server to forget about our existence, which she did. We didn’t get served for about a half hour, and then when we asked for bread, they charged us for it.
need more variety. Nice venue, good for lounging. Impressive wine presentation but I wouldn't come back, the place is too dead and the menu offers minimal variety.
more attention. I appreciated the complimentary wine shot that was given to us at the top of the meal, but everything else after was anticlimactic. I enjoyed the white truffle pizza, but my friend ordered the same thing without meat, and both pizzas had meat. The server also gave us crap for it, as if we didn’t clarify that one needed to be meatless.
fun place. Great selection of wine tasting, delicious food especially the braised beef and the scallops. Excellent service and very friendly staff, overall a fun place to have a nice glass of wine with friends and family. Definitely going back!
