Best real joint in Manhattan. I have tried most of the dishes on their menu and I have never been disappointed. My faves are the shrimp soft tacos and the steak and portobello salad. And the kitchen is open until 2 AM! Way better than a greasy slice for the munchies. I love Rodeo let's hope they will be there a loong time. And we all gotta support the free live music.

Awesome BBQ. Rodeo Bar has a great atmosphere and amazing barbecue! This place looks really cool on the inside and the BBQ is super good.

I just usually get a BBQ sandwich and a soda or some kind of alcohol. I go with friends occasionally and it is always a good time.

We have a lot of fun at this place!

LOVE RODEO BAR. I LOVE rodeo bar. it is one of the best bars in manhattan. part dive bar, part southern honky-tonk, part after work hang out, this place has it ALL. seriously. AND $6 margaritas from 4-9pm?? absurdly amazing. it is the least pretentious bar with such a diverse group of people, totally relaxed and just so fun. i try to come as often as i can because i am tired of how expensive and pretentious most bars are in manhattan. i love rodeo bar!!!!!!! also, free live music every night, just saw joe taino last night and he was so amazing, i am going to come back for all of his shows at rodeo

Love It!. Rodeo Bar is a great choice for a meal: very tasty BBQ, love the atmosphere, great service. Next time I'll stick around for the music

no rodeo music. I work in NYC and love BBQ and country music. Rodeo Bar has great BBQ but the music is pure NY villege crap until the live music at 9pm. I asked the waiter if they played country music before 9pm and he said they just play piped-in stuff that he had no control over. Rodeo's piped-in music before 9pm is chosen to please their employees, not their patrons. It doesn't make since to decorate the place like a country & western place and then play only that villege crap.

I have never felt so discriminated!!!. (Inappropriate behavior, racist comment, discrimination!!!)

I'm from Argentina recently moved to NYC after living for a while in Brazil. Last night my husband, who is a US citizen, and I went to this place. We had dinner and listened to live music. In the middle of the show, my husband went to the bathroom and I remained seated in the table. While I was there alone, one guy who had been there since the beginning, took the flour tortilla chips basket, moved it closer to him and grabbed some tortilla chips. I gave him a look but he just ignored me. I told the waitress and she did nothing. My husband came back from the bathroom and I told what happened. He addressed to the guy asking why he took some chips. The guy said he thought the table was empty. My husband replied his wife was there (me) and the guy said he thought I was the kitchen's help because I'm dark. :(

We complained to the manager and the waitress and they asked us to shut up, pay the bill and knock it off while the guy stayed there laughing and making fun of me. Very unfortunate incident. I ended crying, fighting with my husband and felt very sad... I uploaded a picture of myself so you can see I look Latin. Do yourselves a favor, save an ugly moment and go to some other place.

Poor Service, Incredibly Rude. BEWARE IF YOU ARE COMING WITH A GROUP. THEY WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE YOU. I booked dinner for a party of 15. About 10 guests arrived on time, but 5 were still looking for parking in the area. They told us that after 15 minutes, they would have to take away 2 of our tables for other customers. They waited less than 10 minutes, instead of 15, and then gave our tables to others. 5 minutes later the most of the party arrived with nowhere to sit. I asked if there was any way to accommodate the rest of my guests because otherwise we'd have to leave. They told us no, without so much as an apology. So there we were on a Saturday night looking for someplace that could accommodate 15 people at the last minute...not an easy task. To top it off, after we decided to leave, one of my friends arrived looking for us, and they had the nerve to tell him we'd been kicked out! Definitely would not return to such a rude place.

Great Atmosphere and FREE MUSIC!!!. Spent my Halloween night at Rodeo Bar and couldn't have asked for a more fun evening! Drinks were delish and prices weren't outrageous! The band played an extra hour because of Daylight Savings and a great time was had by all!!! Can't wait to go back when I'm not in costume!

if its after 3 a.m. don't expect to see anyone. I really think I could've enjoyed this place if there were more than 3 other people in it. I came by with my cousin on a friday night about 3 a.m. and found the place deserted. Let down in the city that never sleeps.

It's like being in an episode of "Cheers". I walked in with a friend and was instantly transported into an episode of Cheers. Everyone was friendly and I knew that I would be back. The drinks were great especially the Margaritas!!! The food is delicious my friend enjoyed a steak fajita and I loved loved my enchilada!!! Definately the best in city. I would reccommend this place to anyone who wants to go somewhere that the patrons and staff all try to get to know you and at the end of the night everyone is just hanging together like one big party.
