Great laser hair removal..... I usually got to another spa for my lasering that has insanely good prices but I made an appt with Daria at Serene laser during Spa Week. Wow, she is great. She I explained to her I'd been to different spas trying to get results on my brazilian area and she sorta lectured me a bit on spa jumping, saying the results would not be good, etc, I just sorta went "yeah yeah yeah", but after seeing the results on my brazilian, which all other laser techs had failed to make progress on, i'm sold. I find their prices pretty high, but I was lucky to grab a deal on one of the livingsocial-type sites. That way when i run out of those, i can do a session at full price, then catch another session during a spa week, and just pay for full sessions whenever i have to. Daria really knows what she is doing and is very conscientious about her work.

Highly recommend Daria. I wrote the below on the site for Gemvie Medispa. I'm not sure what the difference is as they share the same space/address. But it seems that Seren Max is the laser part - so pasting it here as I would recommend Daria... Haven't tried their other services.

This is actually my first review on Citysearch - and it's taken me 3 visits to Gemvie to write this - just to make sure I liked their services. In truth, I should say service, as I've only used them for laser hair removal.

I found them when passing by & noticed some cards/coupons for laser hair removal outside their door with a really great deal on laser. The picture was horrible - a lip covered half with dark, ugly hair. Almost made me not want to look into them. But the price was too good.

So I looked at their reviews online & they seemed pretty good. I had been to a couple of other places - Tribeca, Completely Bare & had ok experiences - through SpaWeek. The coupon for here was for $40 or $99 depending on the area. I booked it.

I really liked Daria from the start. No nonsense, yet friendly. Put me at ease. In the end I had my underarms, brazilian, and lower legs done. Yes, there are some areas that definitely are NOT fun... but for the most part it is not painful at all. And those not fun areas aren't fun when waxing either.

I've now been there 3 times & am scheduled for my 4th visit next week. There's a few hairs left it seems - but I think I'm the only one who notices them. Faint, light barely there hair on my lower legs which I don't think the laser works on (needs to be dark hair). So not noticeable that I don't even shave in between.

I would highly recommend Daria - and have to several of my friends. I booked 6 sessions for each of the areas so that I could get the reduced price & paid about $1,600 I think including tax - which was really reasonable versus all the other places I checked out. And they aren't pushy like some (laser cosmetica turned me off because of that).

I think I've said it all. Whether you go here or somewhere else though, I highly recommend laser. It's been so great not to wax or shave!

service at its best. My fiance started going here for laser hair removal long time ago an we were happy with service and results. So I have veins all over my body (something i inherited from parents). I went to doctor for injections but there was absolutely, I mean Absolutely no change! (for a $800 per session).

I went to Serene Max to just inquire about my legs and I was given a detailed explanation and a test: i saw with my eyes veins disappear so, no doubt, i gave it a try.

I had my first sessions and I'm VERY HAPPY with result: my legs are almos clear with just one visit. its incredible!

Great Experience. I was very hesitant to try laser hair removal, but the staff at Serene Max took the time to explain everything to me. I have had my first treatment and I am very happy with the results. I am very pleased!

Truly Unbelievable results--2 treatments and no hair growth. I have had two sessions of laser hair removal on my armpits with Daria and I am astounded with the results. I have not shaved yet in over a month--it's insane!! Seriously, i have not ever been as excited about anything. It was completely painless and the results far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined. So now ive had my legs done twice and havent shaved them since!! This is crazy!! Ladies, a life without shaving--can you imagine?!?!? Who would have thought!!! Well, it is right here in front of you at Serene Max!

Excellent from the beginning to the end!. Extraordinary is probably the best way to describe the results of laser hair removal which has been done well. There is no sign of it, no scaly skin, no rough patches and it's fantastic.I took the plunge and was really impressed with the packages and the professionalism of Sarene Max Laser Spa.I have been effortless and pleasurable. This Place is gooood!. I"ve done my neck 6 times in a different place before - i didnt work for whatever reason, waste of money and time. Passing by i saw there poster with special: front nech for 125 - good deal, i went for consult and treatment. Its working, i see no hair after just 2 visits. Thats all I ever wanted LOL!!!

Reliable , profeccional laser center. Im on my 5th session of laser hair removal now and result is outstanding. Nothing grows, i forgot about a problem. Price is right , very professional service. They got a beautiful place with gorgeous waiting area and backyard to chill in the summer and have tea. Totally recommend

Gotta Go!!!. I love this place!!!

The stuff is very supportive and helpful. I'm doing my hair removal treatment there and the laser specialist is the best professional I ever met in my life. She answers all your questions and is a very patient person. She always calls a day or so to remind about the appointment and makes sure to follow up after the treatment.

The premises are beautiful and very clean.

Highly recommended!!!
