What would you say if I told you that there was a place where, for less than $5, you could get an unutterably rich, juicy, crusty pork chop dressed with coarse ground pork and sauce and pickled vegetables, all over warm, moist rice? Would you say I was crazy? Maybe I am. But it exists. It really does.
Citysearch Editorial Profile – Foodies flock to this tiny, sparsely decorated Chinatown spot for the extremely filling pork chop over rice, as well as other dishes like spicy popcorn chicken and rice noodles.
Best Pork Chop Over Rice – This is by far the best pork chop over rice place I have had in New York. The pork chop is freshly fried to tender, crispy and well spiced deliciousness. I personally prefer fried chicken leg over rice or over noodles. So I got that for myself with a marinated egg. The chicken leg is very juicy, crispy and it totally reminds me of home, Taiwan.
Each dish costs only $4.5 with .50 extra for the egg. You would walk out totally full $5 less. This is definitely a recession proof meal and they also have other dishes available for less than $5 too.
