As a seasoned recruiter, Forrest Solutions has been my least favorite place to work. While staffing is an industry of turnover, Forrest supersedes any other firm with the amount of turnover I've seen over the short time I've been there. They fire employees on whims and reduce salaries of managers thus demotivating them constantly. Most of the remaining staff has been here under 18 months. About 50% have been here under a year.

As a recruiter working mostly on the candidate side, it is difficult because there are constantly new account managers, and the clients get fed up with having a different point of contact every few months. As such, there is a lack of job orders coming in due to clients being dissatisfied with and turned off by Forrest's constant changes, giving us recruiters little to work on.

For the past year, they have been unable to hire any recruiter or salesperson with experience due to their reputation in the work place. The company went from 65 recruiters to 30 recruiters over the past 2 years, and seems like their "sister" company of FSO will dominate and sell the staffing portion off sooner rather than later.

The staffing side has decreased in revenue consistently over the past two years (the outsourcing side is doing well but the two companies have separated off and are not one company anymore).

Highly suggest to not work here (though any experienced recruiter interviewing will probably figure that out in their first interview).

As I'm looking to leave pretty soon and have experienced it first hand, feel obliged to help others out...

Forrest epitomizes the notion of a polished turd. They have a fancy looking office but don’t live up to their visual appearance with any sort of professionalism or reasonable treatment of people.

My “manager” was generally and genuinely incompetent, and did not understand the broad strokes or the brass tacks of the client operation he was attempting to manage. Similarly the additional Forrest staff that were placed on the assignment did not possess their advertised qualifications.

In addition to seeming totally lost, the Forrest manager gave initial instructions were that were counter to client’s desires, he mis-scheduled start dates and times of various Forrest staff assigned to the project, and he made glaringly inappropriate comments for any workplace. The manager also allowed the persistence of inappropriate work habits that violated the privacy of the client.

The situation was untenable and I left on what was not the best of terms, feeling contaminated by the contact with Forrest.

Best Staffing Company In NYC. Be conversational: Write as if relaying your experience to a good friend.

Be thorough: Mention your favorite products or services offered by this business, such as menu items, home delivery or spa treatments.

Be local: Identify the neighborhood where the business is located and mention nearby attractions when relevant.Lora Snyder and Tara Hernandez are the best recruiters I have ever worked with. I had been looking for a position that would be a perfect fit for me for quite some time and within two weeks of meeting Lora and Tara, I had a job offer that far exceeded my expectations. They were so friendly and really looked for what I was interested in and what would fit all of my qualifications. I felt like I was a priority with them at all times and they were in constant contact, giving me advice and updates. This process had been a nightmare in the past but Forrest Solutions made it the easiest transition of my life. I recommend them to all of my friends and family and believe that anyone looking for a new job or career change should make an appointment with Forrest Solutions immediately!

Great People, Great Experience. I had an excellent experience with Forest Solutions. Jeff Allen was great and really listened to what I was looking for in a job. He went above and beyond to make sure I was getting what I wanted and because of his hard work and efforts I’m truly happy in my new job! Thanks Jeff!

Great recruiters!. I worked directly with Joanna Ascani and Padraic Smith, they are both great and are the reason I have an awesome Job right now! I really appreciate all their help and would recommend them to anyone searching for a good recruiter. Thanks guys!

Joanna Ascani at Forrest Solutions is the greatest!. Joanna Ascani at Forrest Solutions is the greatest! She was incredibly helpful in my search and did her best to match me with position she felt met my personal career goals. She didn't just try to stick me in any position that she could like some other services have. She paid attention to what my skills were and what I wanted out of a career. In this tough job market, I was just about ready to settle for anything, but she made sure that I didn't. She develops a relationship with the people that she works with and I believe she has their best interest at heart. I would 100% recommend Joanna to anyone.

Great !!. Working with Joanna Ascani has been great !!!, she has helped me polish my resume and is proactive in helping me land a job, it has been a pleasure working with Joanna. She is still in the process of helping me finding a job and her hard work is very noticable.

FORREST SOLUTIONS GROUP TWO THUMBS DOWN. I have worked with several "Employment Agencies" in the past and Forrest Solutions Group is THE WORST place I have ever been to. I was scheduled to meet with Joanna Ascani . I signed in and sat with the other hopefuls in the lobby. Although she was notified that her 1pm was there I WAITED OVER AN HOUR without any acknowledgment. After the long wait she (Joanna) spoke with me no longer than 5mins. She said she would be in touch soon I never heard from her again. 6months later Joanna finally contacts me after our initial meeting and ask me to "DO A FAVOR" and write a review. Unbelievable. Needless to say I think the Forrest Solutions Group is unorganized, unprofessional and I would not recommend them to other qualified and educated professionals seeking employment. Its unfortunate that during these difficult economic times that people will still take the time and efforts of people seeking jobs for granted.

Forest Solutions. I was looking for a job for 6 months and worked with different agencies but when I came across Forest Solutions I felt that this will be by last stop. I felt very confident that they will help me with my job search and sure enough they did. When I came to Forest Solutions I met with Joanna Ascani and Erik Belkin (A+++ employees). They send me for an interview the next day, two days later I received an offer from the employer. It was no hassle to deal with this agency. People that I came across were very professional and as soon as I walked through their door they told me that I would be placed very soon and surly enough I was. I would definitely recommend this agency to a friends, colleagues, etc.
